Bombing without substantial territory gain is useless. You F around, you lose the territory and that in itself is slap on their honour, which should hopefully act as detterence for future. Must occupy substantial territory with threat to gobble up more if Afghanistan keep on harbouring terrorists.

The entire border area is in Pakistan's control. Who knows Pakistan may establish a buffer zone on the border.

Pakistani counter strikes against targets in Afghanistan continue.

A total of 133 Afghan Taliban are confirmed killed, more than 200 wounded. Many more casualties estimated in strikes in Kabul, Paktia and Kandahar military targets.

Twenty seven (27) Afghan Taliban posts have been destroyed, and nine (9) have been captured.

Two Corps Headquartes, three Brigade Headquarters, two ammunition depots, one logistics base, three battalion headquarters, two sector headquarters and more than eighty (80) tanks, artillery, and armed personnel carriers have been destroyed.
