ISLAMABAD: Pakistani forces continued their robust and effective response under 'Operation Ghazab Lil Haq’ to unprovoked aggression by Afghan Taliban forces, security sources confirmed on Friday.
Security sources said Pakistani forces successfully targeted and destroyed multiple Afghan Taliban check posts during the counter-operation. Among the installations destroyed were the Afghan Taliban’s military facilities at the Ariana Complex, the Dabgai check post, the police headquarters, and the Zakarkhel post, they added.
Moreover, the Pakistan Air Force targeted key Taliban positions in Laghman province, destroying an arms depot, the ABF battalion headquarters, and the Nangarhar brigade in a decisive strike, sources further said.
They added that security forces also destroyed a Taliban check post near the Mohmand sector, saying forces are only targeting Afghan military positions while adhering to international laws.
Operation 'Ghazab Lil Haq' is ongoing and will continue until all objectives are achieved, sources confirmed. The Pakistani armed forces remain fully committed to defending national security and responding decisively to any unprovoked aggression, they added.
