casualties will take hours to be reported, early stages of BDA first and then subject to heavy censorship

fog of war

Trump is in deep shit now.
First, he fails to create an atmosphere of control like in Venezuela.
Second, any American death goes against his narrative of being an anti-war president—especially a war against Iran. No one in the USA would buy that.

These military bases are much easier for Iran to target as they are closer to Iran and Iran has far more systems to target them.

Iranian response was the necessary response

Unless US and others have accurate intelligence on Iranian capabilities -- what just happened is showing they now have two choices :

1.) Find off ramp to deescalate and push showdown to later date

2.) Commit to a full scale deadly war that's gonna ruin the region

Iran doesn't wanna hurt the Arabs. But wants to send message to them don't get complacent and let US mount attacks using your territories.

Only if there are American casualties. Else neither he nor MAGA cares. America is a war addict.
This isn't going to blow back to Trump, you can hit the US asset middle eastern asset all you want, they had been emptying those in the past month (It was on the news) This ins't going to burn Trump or any way like this, the Venezuela thing is a test case for him, as long as no US casualty, American don't care.

Unless he mean it when he was talking about Regime Change, which would mean US force on the ground, that would have been another Iraq, maybe a bit worse and we don't have NATO and EU support, so I am seeing this as minimal, he is going to dump around 100 million worth of missile in Iran, and then call it a win, and go back to what he did before, he wouldn't even do something like Maduro, because if he had, we would have know about it already.

Only high casualties will make trumpy stop. It's unlikely they would have many personnel in those attacked bases.

Injury ? The impact has definitely killed many us personnel. Definitely.
They will never admit loss of life so early into a military op for obvious morale reasons. But the fact it was struck and is being mentioned again and again on western outlets means there was some loss of material and human life.
