It’s honestly baffling.

It's 2026. There aren't many US ground troops around Iran. If there are, they're based in secret locations. Iran would need really good intelligence on them which is hard to get. Any GCC citizen found cooperating with IRGC will face big punishment.

US aircraft carrier is quite a distance away. There are so many anti-missile batteries deployed in the region right now that can sustain up to 2-3,000 ballistic missiles. That's because they will let many fall down on evacuated infrastructure or empty ground.

It will take Iran a massive amount of missiles to overwhelm them. It would have to be high intensity waves like Iran was doing at the beginning for 4 days straight. Trump mentioned 4 days for a reason.

After that 4 days everybody becomes more vulnerable. And that's when US and Israel get more aggressive with air strikes. Maybe even some GCC states that I don't really trust are neutral.
