Israel and the U.S. timed their attack on Iran to coincide with a meeting the country’s supreme leader, Ali Khamenei, was holding with top aides, according to two U.S. sources and a U.S. official familiar with the matter.

Israel said Khamenei was killed along with top lieutenants including Ali Shamkhani, the powerful former National Security Council secretary, and Mohammad Pakpour, Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps commander https://reut.rs/3ORUsts

Pakistan better start taking notes on this war especially learning on how they decapitate the leadership.

Solution is simple build nukes diversify your relationships with neighbors
Building nukes was Not the only solution. They could have diversify their Defense in many other ways. No serious country ties its Security only with rockets. Its the mindset of militias, sorry to say.

The weapon grade enrichment is not that hard.

Yeah except:

First iran has to rebuild centrifuges —oh wait it has no production facilities standing

Then it has to dig the uranium buried underneath Isfahan without getting hit.

Then it has to enrich it to 90%+ purity without being detected

Then has to create uranium metal for the core —oh wait it doesn’t have uranium metal conversion facility (it was destroyed in June)

Then it has to find some facility to convert to be able to convert to uranium metal - undetected.

Then assemble the other elements (neutron trigger, etc) and build the bomb.

Yeah “not hard”. Totally doable for a country infiltrated to its eyeball with spies and US and Israeli fighter jets flying around.

No airforce
No navy
No strategic assets
And
So how are you going to fight a super power and its lap dog 🐕

The objective is to repel the US attack, and prevents Iran to become colonized by the US.

And the US can be repelled with a successful asymmetric warfare.

We can't see shit on Tel Aviv and Israeli streams

They're aiming at the sky in one location of the country and aren't allowing cameras to film in other locations
Could it be that they are trying to neutralize missile defense apparatus in those countries before they go full blown on Israel?

ANALYSIS: Ayatollah Ali Khamenei had long been an assassination target of Israel and the United States.

But his downfall doesn't necessarily mean a new Iran, free of tyrannical rule, is around the corner. https://bit.ly/4bfwCAx

Because the Islamic Republic is extremely ideological and sought to export it's revolution when it's neighbors were either conservative Sunni monarchies or Arab nationalists.
Strategic overreach started 1979. Some intentions were good like helping the Palestinians but those intentions didn't take into account Iran was challenging a Superpower and its powerful/rich allies. Plus Iran indeed irritated its neighbors.

That's why Iran is really left with no choice but to keep fighting to the end. They were left with no escape route. Their backs are to the wall.
I don't count out Iran yet if they are willing to fight as one nation.
If they had the bomb then what are they waiting for, their army is being dismantled, leadership assassinated.
They never had the bomb. One could study what and how long it took for Pakistan starting January 1972 to become a credible nuclear power with often the American connivance. Iranians were never serious about a bomb and on that either you go the whole hog or just dont' even bring that up.

Israel will keep Iran crippled in Future too. I dont think they will let Iran economically and diplomatically integrate with the Rest of the world.
That's what Israel would like to do but Iran's distance from Israel, Iran's proximity to a rising China, and Iran's own human resource capital are Iran's strengths to counter Israel.
The key word being independent. If we're talking about a surrender, then Iran would cease to be independent. So, while it'll have the ability to become technologically advanced, like say Japan did, it will still be a militarily weak one as long as it abides by whatever it agrees to do with Trump.

Indeed, it will be up to the Iranians to decide whether to wrap the 1979 model and become another Jordan or Japan or continue with the 1979 route. I tend to think Israelis wouldn't mind an Iran which is like a Jordan: At peace with Israel, even prosperous, but without teeth. Iran's distance from Israel helps Iran some.
