If they ever run out of smart (precision) ammo, that is expensive and time consuming to make, they have enough dumb ammo to saturate Iran one foot deep. Hoping to run out of ammo is a dumb strategy. Also, dumb ammo is easier to produce than hamburger.

this is the unreliable bravado that's gotten us into trouble repeatedly. Hegseth has proven thoughtless. Nobody in DC has taken into consideration the impact on the large neighborhood of Iran and how their views will change after 3 days of suffering.

Possibly they are sending one drone as a bait while other watches for missile launch infrared flashes. That seems to be the only way to detect smaller passive systems like majid or 393.

TV-IIR sensor can be on a separate vehicle nearby in a better camouflaged(infrared+visual) position and moved when air is secure from drones to different areas from time to time.

Missile(393-Majid) carrier vehicle once it fires is exposed and the crew can run out by motorcycles to separate directions if there are multiple drones nearby.
Another solution is to produce more Majid + 393 to cover the same area shooting down more drones both bait and armed ones.

So far, they seem to have done a good job but no guarantee what the future will hold. I think U.S. & Israel will neutralize missile threat with precision weaponry. But war is ugly business and nobody stops it by running out of smart ammo. They will start using 'dumb' ammo. Like when you run out of pizza, you make PBJ or even leftover dinner for lunch.
