I can't see how Iran can come back from this. The choices seem to be surrender now and let Pahlavi come in, or get destroyed like Gaza eventually so that Pahlavi can come in. Can't see a third option at this point.

So, you don't understand anything about war. Iran destroyed more than 700 US and Israeli military targets in 2 days!(Not even in the world wars did the US suffer an attack like this!) And you talk about "recovering"? Iran is prepared for a Vietnam or Afghanistan-style war; we're talking about 15-20 years of war here. But before that, the US will try to stop this one to have a "victory narrative" in the media.

NOTE: American defense systems in the Middle East are finished, destroyed, and worn out. The US takes 1 to 2 months to build them, so they're going to try to stop the war.

As far as I know, Iranians have only owned attacks on American bases. The video I posted above is short and the Iranian official in clear in disowning the attack on ARAMCO.
It is in Israel's interest to attack civilian infra and that serves dual purpose for Israel: Weaking the Arab govts and also dragging them into a conflict with Iran. It is a no brainer.

So how are the rockets flying out of Iranian airspace? Is that mossad too? Bit of a stretch by any imagination...

My qualified assessment is that up to 10.000 PKK and PJAK terrorists have been concentrated in the Qandil region bordering NW Iran. Between 2000 and 3000 PKK terrorists alone have evacuated the Iraqi-Turkish border region. Their empty caves and hiding places are currently being inspected by Turkish military forces.

There are also movements from NE Syria towards Qandil.

It's clear what their goal is with regards to Iran.

This is going to become much more relevant in the coming days.

If they are hell bunt on using Kurdish ethnic groups against Iran, what is stopping them, especially Israel - of using Baloch separatist to rebel against Iranian Sistan? Pakistan should watch out for this developing threat against its territorial integrity. If Israel with the help of US air support is able to successfully create a break away region or an enclave inside Iranian Baluchistan then it can prove disastrous for Pakistan.

Define "destroyed". That is a relative term.

Yes - but is 10,000 enough to make a difference, or will they be a distraction only? One thing the IRI does not lack is foot soldiers, and even with degraded C&C that Iran may have, they should be able to marshal enough to blunt this ?
