They know Iran isn’t willing to negotiate and they know the gulf states will run out of interceptors soon which means complete destruction. Same fate awaits israel, these interceptions are not sustainable long term. They wanted a quick win, but it turned into a war and now they are concerned.

I think it is logistical. The Gulf is not fully in, so a cheaper way, like troops on the ground, is a suitable option.
At the moment, B2 are flying from the US, and many assets are not near the eastern Gulf side.
