When you have gems like J-35s, KEs, ANKA-3s etc. as low-hanging fruits it makes sense. I am pretty sure the PAF will go for implementing the USAF's CCA concepts....

It depends on what your standard requirements are for "heavy" in "heavy aero-ballistic missiles".

If your requirements aren't particularly high, then the JH-7E might be a good option.

Many people have some misconceptions about the JH-7 series fighter-bombers, believing them to be very outdated. Therefore, they should learn about the performance of the JH-7AII.

Which missile exactly? J-10C can be modified to carry most.

If your requirements aren't particularly high, then the JH-7E might be a good option.

It does appear J-10s would eventually carry these heavier missiles when needed, where Thunders can't. Another 4th gen platform for strike missions would be a waste of scarce resources.

The rest? Maybe - as the documents seem to prove - only 20 were ordered and as such only 20 were delivered!

Maybe all these claims "we get more!", "we get them soon" ... like "we will get J-35A soon" are just not true?

I should have been clear. I would assume keeping abreast with the capabilities being offered to india and with general trend, we need to have similar capabilities:



We have CM400 (~900kg) but going beyond our current platforms won’t be able to carry such payloads.

When I say something about J35, people tell me to wait for induction before making claims. When I say the same about Indian future inductions, people tell me not to underestimate the enemy. Pehle decide kr lein k future acquisition ko equation mein dalna hai ya nahi.
