If Iran can keep the Strait of Hormuz closed for about a month, they will win hands down! With no oil going out and no food coming in, the global economy would stall. Furthermore, it would cut off the flow of Petro-dollars currently being invested in U.S. AI development.

Yes but it is hard to communicate to drones under water. It would be mostly autonomous until it arrives close to a certain target. Then it can surface and wait for instructions to go to a new location, open its sonar-radar, antiship missile launch or similar. Communication jamming would be an issue but can be solved someway.

Surface naval drones if made stealthy enough would do the anti-shipping job better than this ofcourse and with continious communication updates. I was just brainstorming with what is available at hand currently and short term smaller modifications to hurt the enemy more.

my main concern would be that is basically suicidal mission of trained sailors towards enemy who is saturated with all kind sensor, i would discard it completely and stick to the other possible solutions if anyone in Iran even have time to think about it due wart.
 
Isnt this a good oppurtunity for china russia turkey and pakistan to play their role and get the world out of the clutches of evil epstein class? History doesn't present opportunities again and again and if you say USA is too strong to be taken on, well, there was a super power called soviet union which looked too strong to be taken down back in its days.

The issue is, even for argument sake, there is mutual hate between certain section of Sunni and Shia population, we both are confronting a beast which do not differentiate between us. Can we not, atleast for time being, while dealing with this beast to step aside our differences and work together towards mutual survival. In this, there is no escape, either hold the line together or get rolled over one by one.
