Dude, think about it for a second, how is the US protecting Israel if GCC is not in the picture? Setting aside whether GCC will be neutral toward Israel (that's the best-case scenario), you can't protect Israel unless at least Qatar and Bahrain are on the US side, since most of the threats are inland or across the Red Sea. Saudi Arabia and Iraq may be wild cards, but it would not be much of an issue.

The answer is easy and you saw It before in the lips of Mad Pete. He will swear and thread Irán not to attack his beloved Rogue partner... And abandon his operation boasting "Mission Acomplished".

And let the problem to others (GCC). They did It before and they will do again.

80% of Saudi oil and 60% Gulf states food comes from imports and a lot it goes through Strait of Hormuz where Iran can blockade them.

They can move their food imports to be dropped off at the Red Sea/Oman ports. They have options.
