I'm curious to know what Iranian politicians are thinking...

The two questions I have would be what did Putin want in return for such cooperation in AD, as well as how reliable and effective are Russian AD compared to Western threats?

Obviously a mistake from Iran, that rocket was ment for South Cyprus. In war and during high airtraffic, sometimes a rocket can change course.

KSA and Iran aren't really friends and their relations have been mostly sour than anything good. However they would have been the only country that I wouldn't have wanted to see hit, unless of course there was evidence of US or Israeli activity from there. 1 - Are there any air-to-air refuellers operating out of any GCC countries bases or in their airspace right now?
2 - Are there any drones operating out of any GCC countries bases or in their airspace right now?
3 - Are there any USA AWACs operating out of any GCC countries bases or in their airspace right now?
4 - Are there Americans soldiers in any USA bases in the middle east, gather intelligence from these GCC countries that is being fed back to the USA.
5 - is CENTCOM still operating out of Qatar, guiding and directing combat operations?
6 - Are any bases, or ports providing logistical services in the GCC countries to the USN fleet?

Operations is "not just kinetic bomb dropping", it is also all the intelligence activities, operations centres and logistical support services as well..

Then have Iran declare open war against the GCC.
