Having an atomic bomb, or J20 or su57 doesn't provide protection. It's the ability to have an effective use and numbers to create a formidable deterrence. Getting 40 or 50 planes or some bomb won't make a difference when the hour is there. They will be swept aside and overwhelmed. However if these numbers are multiplied to create a formidable defense. That will put respect in your adversary's eyes. Throwing one orange there and one tomato here won't...
