Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Shouldn't they have run countless simulations at various intensities to see how survivable the strategy really was? None of us can afford to design plans based off mental predictions.

BBC News - Kier Starma giving press conference now. Looks like he giving out vibes of taking the UK into war against Iran :(

He is still taking...

- 4 More typhoon jets for defensive operations in Qatar
- Helicopters for anti-drone operations for Cyprus ( Apaches ?)
- More focus on getting UK people out of the region.
- Focus on UK industries affected by upcoming energy shortages.
- Defence spending increases.

[EDIT] - So not getting UK involved in the war - mostly defensive additions and people movement out of the region.

If the news of him being a traitor is true, then they need to hang him 10 different times, to make sure all his lives are indeed used up ....
That wouldn't be enough, he survived multiple point blank ground zero 10000lbs bunker busters and 2000lbs bombs, a rope on his neck is nothing compared to that

Iran wanted to make allies in the region, but as you can see from the behavior of Iran's neighbors in this active war, they weren't trustworthy or independent enough for Iran to build and have good relations with them, so Iran made allies with regional entities it could trust and were fully aligned with Iran's regional goals, values and strategies.
There's a difference between proxies & allies.

Iran tried to align itself with the biggest pro-Zionist entity in the region and that was a disaster. Then trying to build proxies within, causing destabilization, doesn't help create allies.

Why are some weirdos on this forum so fixated on the reduction of Iranian missile strikes on israel but ignore the high probability that Israeli and US air sorties over Iran have probably reduced too- Iran and hezbollah have probably also degraded enough airbase infrastructure and resources US and Israel rely on the region to attack Iran, which has led to reduced air sorties flown over 🇮🇷

Yes it can, even sink an entire CSG if it wants to

But it can't, because Iran doesn't want to, fearing the retaliation that would ensue

I'm very confident that if Iran decides to sink a USN ship, it has the ability of doing it successfully even after a devastating first strike by USAF

I'm not doubting the capabilities, but the will of IRI to issue an order to sink a USN ship, they can even sink a carrier, Iran has the capabilities, the doubt part is appetite to do so

Iran has thousands of those C-802 like missiles which some have a range of 600+km and can be launched from F-4 or Su-22

Probably hundreds of Persian Gulf AshBM and Hormuz-2 anti radiation AshBM which would be devastating if one Hormuz-2 hits a carrier

They are largely capable of breaking a carrier in two then sinking it, keep hitting it when USN tries to rescue the sailors, this will guarantee at least hundreds of casualties

Houthis only launched small salvos of them (not more than 3), Iran can launch a massive amount of them at the same time to guarantee at least some impacts

IRGCN has the same missile cities layout but for coastal defense, stored underground and launchers disguised as civilian truck will facilitate their survivability

If Iran really wants to sink a carrier, it can, but sinking their destroyers or cruisers will be easier considering it can achieve a chain explosion reaction by hitting the VLS area like Ukraine did on Russian cruiser

Just wanted to know, if your views have changed from pre-war position to more reality levels.

Iran has done well under circumstances, but as far as technology & capabilities are concerned, Iran is no match for United States. If Iran would have capabilities to successfully strike & decommission Carrier Strike Group than Trump would not have taken such a gamble on Iran at first place.

Iran has its strengths and weaknesses, its strengths are its ability to keep standing despite heavy punishment, its resilience, its ability to strike back but at same time it has its weaknesses at technological levels. If Iran keeps standing and keep hitting Israel then just like 12 day war, the enemy can come back to ceasefire position. It will be a victory itself. But we should not expect miracles to defeating enemy at technological levels.

Why are you citing an Indian dude who constantly shits on Pakistan? Check people's timelines before sharing them - also this is a lesson for Iran for trusting India time and time again.

is this real news? seems fake?

Iranian ship was invited to India , and were returning back from Navy Joint Training in India port

The Ship had "ceremonial staff" and also had their systems turned off as they were in Indian ocean (friendly waters)

No Irani knows what happened , I won't discredit this one

The Enemy Submarine were aware Iranians are leaving Indian port

Srilanka Navy replied the rescue call , no action from Indian ports or navy to help the crew , who just attended a Navy Invite for training

When they turned on the distress signal, only Sri Lanka came to help. Indians didn’t respond, and still to date, they haven’t issued any condolences.
