2000-2008 and then 2013 to 2022, were somewhat better. The most heinous crimes used to be challenged then. The judiciary had some sense of challenging the status quo. In the second of these terms there was even balance and healthy (albeit nascent and small) amount of inter-state pillar checks and balances. What we are seeing now is same-page politics on turbo, everyone is aligned/ or has been made to align. From here on in countries either become China or they become North Korea, high stakes. Let's hope and pray for stability and the best in general.

PAF brass was bay and large good and the few black sheeps are compromised by overwhelming majority of professionals. Now the top is corrupt and is and will impact that balance. On top of it this inept leader is rewarded. Destroying the only top notch institution
