A thread from this forum here quoted some source stating that the US has used AI for target identification by feeding data from satelite images to the AI. Not sure if true or not, but just posting here to raise the awareness of how Iran's forces can counter the enemy's usage of AI against them :
Excerpt :
THE SCALE OF AI INVOLVEMENT IN THE IRAN WAR
I found this video that seems to contain an objective analysis of the Iran war.
It reveals the scale of AI involvement in this conflict.
The following AI systems are being used by USA/Israel:
- Maven
- Palantier
- Claude
- and Genai.
The core of this system is Claude. It is the cental reasoning engine of this system. It processes a massive amount of classified data in real time, generating:
- target identification
- Intelligence assessment
- and simulation of battle scenarios.
These data that it is being used to feed the system is:
- satellite images.
- drone footage
- radio intercepts
- and human intelligence reports.
As the result of this computation the system delivers:
- strike packages (targets)
- precise GPS coordinates
- recommended munition for each target type
- estimated collateral damage calculations
- and legal rules of engagement
In conclusion, AI combat technology allows to identify and to attack hundreds of targets simultaneously. By day 4 of the Iran conflict USA/Israel managed to destroy 2000+ targets. In comparison to it, during the invasion of Iraq in 2003 it took USA several weeks to eliminate the same amount of targets. AI warfare changed the battlefield forever. The tempo, the precision and efficiency that AI allows for is terrifying.
I bet China and Russia are watching very closely what is happening in Iran.
One surprising fact of this conflict is that it is not Israel that is the primary target of Iran’s retaliation strikes. It is the United Arab Emirates with ca. 1100 strikes. Second comes Kuwait with approximately 550 strikes. Israel comes at third position wit ca. 280 successful strikes so far (day 4 of the conflict).
