Rev. Jesse Jackson’s son ripped former Presidents Joe Biden, Barack Obama and Bill Clinton for using the late civil rights icon’s memorial service to take shots at President Trump.

Jesse Jackson Jr. said the grandstanding Democrats didn’t really know his father, after they used their eulogies to bash the president, his policies, and his vision for America during Friday’s star-studded send-off.

“Yesterday, I listened for several hours to three United States presidents who do not know Jesse Jackson,” the grieving son said Saturday during a private memorial service at Rainbow Push Coalition headquarters in Chicago.

Jesse Jackson Jr. knocked the grandstanding Democrats, who he said didn’t really know his father.

"He maintained a tense relationship with the political order, not because the presidents were white or black, but the demands of our message, the demands of speaking for the least of these – those who are disinherited, the damned, the dispossessed, the disrespected – demanded not Democratic or Republican solutions, but demanded a consistent, prophetic voice that at no point in time ever sold us out as people.

“And it speaks volumes about who the Rev. Jesse Jackson was.”

Jackson died at 84 last month at his Chicago home.

During Friday’s service at Chicago’s House of Hope, Obama warned about the state of the nation, calling each day a “new assault on our democratic institutions.”

“Each day, we’re told by those in high office to fear each other and to turn on each other, and that some Americans count more than others, and that some don’t even count at all,” the former president said.

“Everywhere we see greed and bigotry, being celebrated and bullying and mockery masquerading as strength. It’s hard to hope in those moments.”

Biden also claimed the Trump administration doesn’t share “any of the values that we have.”

Former Vice President Kamala Harris, defeated by Trump during the 2024 election, bragged she “predicted a lot about what’s happening right now” during her remarks.

“I’m not into saying I told you so, but we did see it coming,” Harris said.

“But what I did not predict is that we would not have Jesse Jackson with us right now to help us get through this.”

Clinton, who kept his eulogy mostly free of politics, remembered Jackson warmly as a good friend.

Trump did not attend the memorial service.

Heard he appointed a guy with stolen Valor in her place, but God about time he get rid of her, she has more plastic on her face than my entire Kitchen Cabinets.

Senator Mulling never served in the military yet has faced criticism for making comments about war. That in and of itself makes him no different that the majority of Congress as they never served either.

As for stolen valor, Sen. Blumenthal would be the poster child followed closely by soon to be former Governor Tim Walz. Blumenthal was in the military during the time of Vietnam yet was never deployed to Vietnam. So his claims to being a Vietnam vet is playing loose and fast with the facts. He was a Vietnam Era vet; I know many like him. But, he was never a Vietnam vet.

Gov. Walz is just a POS who served in the Guard and when it was his turn to deploy, he elected to cut'n'run, errr......retire.

Gonna be honest, don't know who he is apart of from some videos and a pic of him in Capital (Jan 6th) ? At this point all the republican politicians talks and sound the same, they posts/support the same stuff, unfortunately there is a crisis of intellectuals in republican party that has given us gems like Randy fine, Ted Cruz, Trump, Lindsey Graham and Pam Bondi's .

The Democrat Party is no better. Trust me on this. When you have the likes of AOC or Jasmine Crockett for examples, how can you possibly be bitter? They are both dumb. I could go on and on.

It does not matter at this point if they had a D or an R after their name. They all sound the same.

Oh no disagreement there, Democrats are as bad Republicans if not worse. Biden the sleepy Joe, or Obama killing many many civilians with drones. in the middle of both you have some on either side who are not paid stooges or bots or sheep who can think for themselves and actually listen to their constituents.

Darth Vader has a higher approval rating then our politicians.

Got sick of both major parties and became an independent and never looked back

The dude's only understanding of war is from TV; the smell of gunpowder from my neighbor being shot last night is more than he can understand: the smell, taste, and sound of the Battlefield.

And never trust a man who bunches two names into one without hyphenating it or separating them into two names.......

lol sounds more like me except i don't pretend, if online wars counted i would be veteran of at least 10 world wars by now... but lets see how he turned out, cause Kristi Neom calling American citizens who were protesting against ICE, domestic Terrorists, plus her cosplaying was Annoying AF.

Tit-for-tat.

Democrats had no problem calling those who were in DC on Jan. 6th domestic terrorists or insurrectionists.

I don't think that's a fair comparison, what happen on Jan 6th was a attack on capital where police officers died, and some committed suicide later, compared that to people who showed up to protest ICE, and got shot execution style is not the same.

Disagree. It is a fair comparison. The one attempted to run over a cop. The other one had a prior run-in with ICE the week before and vandalized an ICE vehicle.

In other instances, you have anti-ICE protestors following ICE vehicles, honking horns, cutting them off, throwing bricks and rocks at them, etc.

On Jan. 6th, not a single police officer was killed by a "protestor". However, a civilian was murdered by a cop.

Ayatollah Nepo Baby

I would not pretend to be a constitutional scholar when it comes to Iran, and Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini is just about the last expert I would cite on anything, other than how to have a disastrous funeral. (It’s understandable that mourners might want a souvenir or keepsake from the ceremony, but it’s problematic when they try to walk off with the corpse.)

But the declaration that Mojtaba Khamenei, a son of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, will be Iran’s next Supreme Leader does make the country’s leadership look a bit more like a hereditary monarchy.

Ayatollah Khomeini wrote in 1970, “Islam proclaims monarchy and hereditary succession wrong and invalid… Islam, then, does not recognize monarchy and hereditary succession; they have no place in Islam.” Under the Iranian Constitution, when there is an opening in the position of Supreme Leader, the Assembly of Experts is supposed to find the figure who is best in “scholarship, as required for performing the functions of religious leader in different fields; justice and piety, as required for the leadership of the Islamic Ummah; and right political and social perspicacity, prudence, courage, administrative facilities, and adequate capability for leadership.”

Apparently, in an amazing coincidence, the assembly of experts determined that in a country of 93 million people, the figure who best meets those criteria just happens to be the son of the previous ayatollah! What are the odds?

Now, I know this is going to shock you, but there’s some evidence that Mojtaba Khamenei might not be the most qualified and pious religious leader.
From Janes information services:

Despite Mojtaba’s links to the Supreme Leader’s office and his wide network, he lacks the highest level of religious credentials and standing that would normally be required of a Supreme Leader.

Indeed, although he has studied in the seminaries of Qom under prominent conservative scholars, he is not classified as a Mujtahid. A Mujtahid is a senior cleric with the rank of Ayatollah who possesses the religious authority and ability to conduct Ijtihad which is the doctrine of interpreting religious texts and make prescriptions on that interpretation. However, his father Ayatollah Ali Khamenei also did not hold the highest level of religious credentials and the constitution of Iran was amended in order to allow him to be Supreme Leader.
I’m starting to think nepotism played a factor in his selection.

Mojtaba Khamenei is described as a hardliner, but let’s face it, you don’t see a lot of soft and moderate ayatollahs.

Keep in mind, the Iranian regime violates the constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran on a daily basis. Among the provisions in the constitution:

  • “The government must ensure the rights of women in all respects.”
  • “The dignity, life, property, rights, residence, and occupation of the individual are inviolate.”
  • “The investigation of individuals’ beliefs is forbidden, and no one may be molested or taken to task simply for holding a certain belief.”
  • “All forms of torture for the purpose of extracting confession or acquiring information are forbidden.”
The Iranian constitution is effectively just there for decoration, so it’s not surprising that after breaking almost every other provision, the regime would evolve into a de facto hereditary monarchy, not all that different from the Shah’s regime that they overthrew.
