I think that if Iran can keep up the economic damage for another week that Trump will be "finished" in the sense of his ability to accomplish anything outside of his pure Presidential powers. Conservatives, like me, who only supported him because the other choice was Kamala Harris, will want him "contained" by Congress and the Courts, so that his additional damage to us all is minimized until January 2029.
What Israel and the USA have done to Iran and the other nations of the Gulf is unconscionable. The destruction of lives and livelihoods for years to come is appalling. The attack on the girl's school in Minab should be investigated by the UN or ICC as a war crime.
Trump has forever sullied the honor of the US with this war of choice. It is even worse that George Bush's war on Iraq. Taken together, the US must, must step back from following Israel to hell. We must, must regain our belief in universal human rights, the rights of all humans to live in peace and to pursue prosperity.
