We must, must regain our belief in universal human rights, the rights of all humans to live in peace and to pursue prosperity.

Unfortunately, my good friend, the world doesn't function that way. You know, some animals tend to be considered greater than others. The Americans have set the standard, and this process didn't start with Trump but goes back decades due to established policies; he followed a pattern his predecessors had followed religiously.

One last thing I would like to get off my chest: do not further demean our honor and insult us further by asking for any investigations by the UN or ICC. Wanting accountability is a natural reaction. But the institutions you’re pointing to—the UN, the ICC—have shown time and again that they cannot act meaningfully when major powers are involved. Why even attempt to lead us down this winding path that leads to nowhere? If the deaths of over 70,000+ civilians in Gaza, and constant resupply of war articles to Israel, didn't move the needle, what makes you think this will?

How can you request something that you know can never be delivered?
