We are not trying to or need to propagate a new one. We are just trying to dethrone the current one.

What Afghans do thereafter, is their problem, their choice.

No, it’s the rule of the crow.
You can kill many crows and unless you do a massacre they will come back and hold grudges for years.

However, if you kill a few crows - skin them and then hang them by trees those crows will not even fly near your home - the same has to be done here. Unless the example is constantly available to them of what happens once you engage with Pakistan as a near constant reminder - unfortunately in ways that would mirror medieval practices - you cannot expect the Afghan attitudes to ever change.

The other way to perhaps create longer term security is also to do the old ways of taking their children for reeducation like Janisarries so that future generations are fixed.

These all sound like maddening, vile ideas but have any other approaches really worked?

Brother, that's all fascist and commie stuff.

In my humble opinion, because everyone blames us that we nurtured the Afghan Taliban, and we helped them come back to power, we just need to remove the Taliban from power, and give Afghanistan back to the Afghans.

After that, If they want to fight with each over who should rule the country, that's their problem. They can take as long as they like without any Pakistani help or involvement.

But if anyone tries to come to the border with mischievous intentions, only then we need to react otherwise we'll be bogged down in Afghanistan like India was in Sri Lanka.

They like fighting, civili wars, so let them fight and have fun. If they want to become the Somalia of Asia, that's their choice.

I think Iran is about to implode, so that'll be a much bigger issue for Pakistan than what Afghanistan is today.

What happened to fence?
Who did not eliminate TTP while USA was in Afghanistan?

Who should talk to Taliban if not the army?
Pakistan tried carrot and stick with TTP starting from 2008. I mean thats who insurgencies are handled.

Pakistan military along with the civilian government tried to reach an agreement with the TTA and TTP to resettle them with their families in their own houses(KPK & FATA) if they agree not to attack Pakistan again.

Fence is there and if you must know fences arent magical barriers that can stop 100% incursions, case in Point Pak-Ind fence, Pak-Agh fence, US-Mexico borders etc.

Pakistan has attacked TTP since 2008 whether US was sitting there or not. I am not sure why would you assume that pakistan didnt attack TTP.

Name some names who should be talking to Taliban, and also let me know in what framework, and what would be our terms and conditions and what happens if Kabul regime fails to comply to it, so i can understand the solution you are proposing.

- You have zero trust on anything military does wrt to Afghanistan
- You were against the strikes and you are against the negotiations

I am confused tbh, do you believe there should be someone from civilians who would lead this whole issue? If possible can you help me understand the below questions,

- Who should tackle the issue? Names and their authority?
- What if Kabul regime still cannot control hostile elements operating from their soil, even if, ideally, they want to, what happens next?
- Who can decide what benefits Pakistan? People/political parties/religious or ethnic group?

It does stop 100% incursions with Chinese border fence. Idk if it is sheer incompetency by us? Could be a new concept to some proud, arrogant and ignorant people
