Today is the 5th Shahadat Anniversary of Sherafghan-1, Wing Commander Noman Akram Shaheed, 106 GD (P), ex-OC No.09 Griffins MRS.

He embraced shahadat on 11th March 2020 during the unfortunate F-16A Block-15 EMLU-III crash while rehearsing to Perform the Aerobatic display for the Pakistan Day Parade.

Yes sad indeed. Did the accident report ever come out in public as to what the hell happened? How did such an experienced pilot make such a disastrous mistake of either not giving himself enough altitude or going too fast. What a sad ending to an illustrious fighter pilot.

Unfortunately no. PAF doesn't allow it especially for this one....it is more of an embarrassment than sorrow to them.
