esterday, I saw a video of people trying to flee Israel from the Ben Gurion Airport and the Israelis had restricted to only 100 passengers per outbound flight and there was chaos at the airport with some thought 200 were allowed. It was on Twitter. Pretty embarrassing for Israel.
While defending Iwo Jima in WWII, Gen Kuribayashi allowed the Americans to land on the beach without any resistance. When the Americans filled up the beaches with full complacency, he opened up Japanese arty and machine guns on them with devastating effect. So let them assemble 50,000 soldiers, a dozen fatteh 2 and khorramshahr 4 will result in enough body bags to stop American hegemony permanently.Defense Secretary: We have assembled 50,000 troops in the Middle East; the war has only just begun.
President Trump: The special military operation against Iran is nearing its end; we've won big, with only 8 U.S. soldiers killed in action.
White House spokesperson: Whether Iran surrenders unconditionally depends on "the president's gut feeling."
All of the above happened simultaneously within an 8-hour window
While we shouldn't get involved in this, we won't be allied with Hezbollah either after what they did to us, its unforgivable for our people, and we will be working with Lebanese authorities to weed out the remnants of the Assadists that have taken shelter there and are fuelling a low level insurgency against our transitional government that has been causing violence in Syria the past year and shipping weapons across the border.I am seeing conflicting reports. Some say Hezb was shelling during the Israeli op and some fell on Syrian side. Others say they did it as warning after Syrian President said he supports Lebanese President intiative to disarm Hezbollah. I think that was a mistake and going into Lebanese internal affairs.
Imo, Hezbollah knows better not to mess with Syria or Syrians. And I don't believe they ever will. I think Lebanon wants Syrian refugees to go back to Syria but after that Hezbollah has ceded to reality.
The Iraqi ones are more fanatical but I also think everybody has war fatigue from civil sectarian wars and nobody wants to go back to that.
