Why has Iran not attacked Israeli nuclear sites as revenge for destruction of its nuclear site in the 12 day war? why is Iran not attacking their military airbases where they are launching their stealth jets from?
There targeting is not good. That is why they use cluster ammunition that can fall over large areas and cause casualties. A nuclear site has a 5 feet thick concrete. A missile landing nearby won't do much damage, besides digging a hole in the ground. Military airbases are well defended. Iran's best bets are soft targets like shopping malls and residential areas. large industrial structures like refineries, oil storage tanks are also good targets.
May be the purpose is not defeating IranIf he had listened to intelligence, he probably wouldn't be doing this. There is not a single report I read that would say going ahead and bombing Iran is a good idea for anything, all because of one word, "Hormuz."
Iran will not lose this war as long as it can threaten Hormuz, and there is just not enough firepower and means to stop that. We can bomb them 24/7 but as long as the Iranian still able to do this

The strait is considered closed. And you don't need an intelligence expert or an oil industry expert to tell the President that......
And thank you for your kind words as well.
What? The program is still there.
After making the dumbest decision in his career, of attacking Iran, he is now doubling down and throwing around even dumber ideas.
He cannot control a simple kinetic war ... can he imagine the can of worms that he will open up, if he starts using nukes ? Nobody will be safe from anyone in the future if nukes are recklessly made casual like this.
The guy is a special kind of stupid ... highly, highly stupid. The US strategists are also not dumb enough to allow him to do something like this.
