It’s the Jordan/Iraq border aka a desert.

If it was hit by loitering SAM it could have fallen tens of KMs away from point of impact.

Also keep in mind 358 has a range of 120KM. It’s not a Manpad. It’s a fire and forget missile. You fire it and it loiters until its IR seeker picks up an aircraft or drone in its site.

HA HA HA!! Back in 1991 Gulf War and 2003 "Iraq Freedom", the US fought an enemy who couldn't shoot back well. Now their bases and staging grounds are being hit left and right and don't have much operational freedom to invade Iran proper.

The claim about the 358 downing a US Aircraft describing the downed Aircraft as a KC134RT was exactly 1 hour after CENTCOM released the details on social media. That is what makes it super suspicious.
