Don't doubt the capability of a well-trained MEU. They train for this constantly and have lots of experience to draw from assaulting a contested beach.

Sorry, but I have a right to say my say. Sexual immorality and pornography, and bastardry like Arnold Schwarzenegger, are more common in western societies than say in other societies like Muslim societies, or other cultures.

Sorry to burst your bubble on this one. But I have to say the bitter truth. Now if you cannot accept this, it means you cannot handle criticism.

Also Alcoholism which is a social problem in USA. So don't go galavanting in this forum, and especially in this thread about USA, sweety. :)

Those islands are all within rocket artillery range from Iran and so talk about "capture" is meaningless, as Iran can land a shell on every square metre of these islands within hours.

They are all within rocket artillery range from Iran.

Like I said in my other post, talk about "capture" is meaningless when every square metre of those islands will get shelled within hours from Iranian artillery systems.

The problem is that there is a filter bubble in place here, so people don't really understand the capability of the opposing force, just like they would rightly like to project and be proud of the Iranian military capability - they must be cognizant not to underestimate the ability of their enemy.

But hey - apparently all I do here is meme... So keep calm and carry on.
