Operation Ghazab Lil Haq (Pakistan - Afghanistan War)

Taliban has alliances with different groups with different ideologies, some are extremists, some moderate, some afghan nationalists etc. Similar to how in Pakistan we have different parties with different agendas and ideologies.

They really don't. It's a basic society.

These taliban tribes are mostly all related and there is a hierarchy for the ones who are not.

Time to hunt TTA leadership is now. You cannot allow your adversary to threaten your capital. Afg Military installations are one thing but now the pain should be inflicted to leadership. **** Taliban and Pakistan zindabad
You cant if overall you’re a divided focus situation and you still cannot focus full efforts to remove illegals from your country due to corruption and also sympathizers who throw hue and cry due to ethnic affinity.

The bigger question is - where did they get the drones(these arent the battery powered toy kind) so who shipped them these? Who trained them on the ground?

Perhaps that miss is the greater question instead of who launched the drones and from where.

ISLAMABAD: Security sources said on Friday that two rudimentary drones were intercepted at different locations adjacent to Rawalpindi but were successfully brought down through electronic countermeasures.

Security sources said that no damage or casualties were reported and the airspace, which was temporarily closed as a precaution, had now been reopened.

Separately, the Ministry of Information posted on X that “two rudimentary drones of terrorist Fitna-al-Khawarij, nurtured by the Afghan Taliban regime, were successfully intercepted by the Pakistan security forces using electronic countermeasures”.

It added that “no military or other infrastructure was hit, other than minor damage due to debris of the forced crashing of drones”, dismissing claims made in a post by the Afghan defence ministry on X.

It was claimed in the post that a centre of Pakistan’s military had been targeted at Faizabad, resulting in the loss of human lives, as well as material losses.

The information ministry said: “The Taliban regime’s claim includes no verifiable evidence as always. However, [it] fully exposes its established role as master proxy of terrorism harbouring and supporting multiple terrorist organisations such as Indian proxies Fitna-al-Khawarij and Fitna-al-Hindustan.”

You raised a couple of compelling questions there.

Penny for your thoughts - your understanding.

Kam Air is still freely flying in and out of Afg - what other movement is happening?
Why is the Afghan Airspace simply not "shut" by perhaps taking out an airliner or two on their ramp(even if its a maintenance or simply shelled frame) to send a message?

The Afghanis in their total imagination cannot still really come up with "loitering" munitions but they still managed to get these short ranged systems well into Pakistan that are running a rudimentary route (or maybe they were all imported in Pakistan because that is really the easier way).

Why arent - and I dont mean it from a political perspective - manpower that were available to quell protests and grab people in trucks doing the same enmasse to all known Afghanis? Who is preventing that? political will?

Indian trolls will do what they do - question is where was the intel miss in the drones shipping in and launching in the first place?

Because that does give the trolls ammo which they badly need on their side.

soem qoutes from afg thread about these attacks that happend few days ago same drones i bet .
id be surprised if that was the case.

looking at some of the wrecks, and im sure jamd will agree, theyre not very crude. actually, View attachment 181317

looking at that wing or whatever, looks to be some sort of composite etc.

i think they're probably just ordering these from some chinese supplier, and assembling them. As i said, the chinese dont really give a toss. There was an Indian company the other day parading and selling Chinese equip to the Indian Army.

These seem like kits like mugin that can be bought off alibaba for cheap. They are very modular and can take all kinds of engines so you could theoretically get the engines and airframes separately. Smuggling these into Afghanistan will be no issue for the Talibs. I doubt Afghanistan has FedEx lol.
you can, i have already posted the engine type.

Why cant it be chinese? i dont understand.

id probably say 5kg maybe based off of the damage we saw?

they're not british, theyre chinese.

These likely just rely on GNSS and co ordinates being uploadede to them

just interesting to note, yesterdays drone had the number 029 on it, todays 041, theyve probably got a hundred or so of these, maybe more, but clearly not very many since theyre unable to use them freely

The Servo's they're using

GNSS module

Arduino+Ardu Pilot

Engine ive posted above. These things must cost less than $2/3k a shot.

actually, @JamD s theory is that its chinese bits ordered online with a homebuilt airframe and im kind of on the same page now too. After seeing all the ins and outs, its all RC hobbyist stuff, nothing particularly indicative of any sort of OEM, plus, JamD's look at the airframe seems to conclude its a bit too crude from what hed expect of a proper OEM. Not to say it isnt, but the way its looking right now is this could be a talibunny design

i guess its not very hard with moulds and stuff like fibreglass etc. These types arent particularly worrying, i bet theyre extremely easy to softkill

Remember.
This guy was raised in Pakistan.
Then got free education in 2017.
Went to Afghanistan in 2024.
Ive stood 3 feet from an Afghan living in Pakistan talking about how he would make an example of the Pakistani Pashtuns - many of whom especially from the banned PTM and the similar sounding political party currently cannot stop romanticizing about having a rakhi bandhan ceremony with.

They must be launched from within otherwise they would have been picked up a lot sooner.

Traveling from Kandahar to Pindi undected? Doubt it.

In the current state KP is in, Islamabad is exposed.

Unless they are willing to sweep their province for undesirables, perhaps even a census.

If not then they should move the capital to Lahore.

yep what our pashtuns dont get is their "brothers " hate them they dint even cinsider them real pashtun and constanly curse them for having allegiance to pakistan , they were even celebrating the floods that happend last year .
Because ethnic politics have been fanned(based on factual and valid grievances) for purposes beyond the core issues to create chasms primarily for greater political upheaval and violence by primarily PTM and their associated(not all) PTI supporters within the KP assembly.

themselves. They're very basic arduino based.

@Panzerkiel how could these afghan cells inside Pakistan be located and dealt with today’s reports if true are alarming. Today they failed but one day theyll hit a hvt or an airport and it will be a big disaster
Many tangos have been picked up in several cities across the countries in last 1 month. CTD and other agencies have been very busy
