Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Evacuating entire cities dude for all the Iranian water issues a country as rich as Qatar has only 4 month of water reserves is crazy these countries in the gcc are lining their pockets with cash but haven’t changed what is arguably the biggest problem they all face in the Middle East is water

I doubt Iran is going to bomb Kharg unless there is real existential threat and no other option available.

They will definitely go for the Saudi and gulf oil fields.

If they cannot stop the exports they’ll stop the production.

You guys keep thinking Iran will back down.

They have nothing to gain by backing down.

It’s like the blitz in London. Britain had nothing to gain by surrendering to the Nazis.

That’s why Churchill gave the speech about fighting until the last man, woman and child.

Was that a secondary explosion afterwards or what I couldn’t tell
Some desi geolocation in a hurry as its late so my results may be off:

from the direction of the mssile and by using available landmarks I was able to geo locate this video to the settlement of Tel Be'er Sheba [31.247450620049296, 34.846910962800614]

Using Streetview we can see the landmarks captured in the video, namely the gas station:

The unique fence captured by the camera man:

Based on above we can safely presume this was the location the video was shot - we then measured the distance from the site to airbase and run some basic calculations into a blast simulator:

For sake of ease I have just used the payload as being composed of TNT - the charge payload is set to 600 Kg the maximum for a Zolfaghar missile and I have set the distance to 337 meters. So based on this the time of arrival for the blast wave at a payload of 600 kg of TNT over 337 meters = 906.10 ms.

We now use the following formula; Distance = Speed of sound x Time Delay

We know that the speed of sound is approx 340–343 meters per second. Based on this we take the time of the impact flash at 0:01 and the time of the audible explosion at 0:11 seconds using above formula within these parameters we get a result of 3,400 meters per second or approx. 11,154 Feet Per second.

Based on this the missile was travelling at hypersonic speeds of 7,500 miles per hour or March 9.8 - the delay you get in the light flash and the sound is because light is always faster than sound.

I hope this helps answer the question.

Also here is a rough idea of the lethality of this missile if it struck open space "Like Israelis will likely claim":

They will to stop it being taken over by US.

That is the “existential” threat.

Iran’s plan A is to survive.

Their Plan B is to destroy the Arab and gulf oil fields so that the Arabs and Gulfies can no longer prop up the US economy.

US needs to rollover 11 trillion of debt this year. And its traditional client states aren’t prepared to buy that debt.

And if Arabs and Gulfies start pulling money out because they don’t have oil revenue - it will collapse the US economy.
