Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

If the US wants the Island as leverage, they can just bomb it (or threaten to bomb it); they aren't looking at trading the invasion of the island as leverage to end the blockade. Because if the leverage is that I can't have oil ship out and neither can you, then it's a lot easier to just bomb the island into smithereens than to try to invade it

However, if this war has ended, and that island was in US hands, then that could be a leverage, because that would be good for "the next time" when Iran closes the strait, but will Iran end the current war on any terms with the US controlling the island?
Interesting. Since you are among the few on the site that is actually a military or police veteran, what do you think this MEU is being brought in for ? I think they are brought in to bust open the Strait , ie seize some islands or coastline on the Iranian side of the Strait.

Targeting those bases where there are these KC-130 refuelers is smart. Without these those bombing missions are going to be hard and might give the IRGC some breathing space to regroup, re assign targets and come back harder.

Iran is playing 4D chess. This, along with the strikes on day one that targeted those radar sites and blinded the Americans, are proof how smartly Iran are choosing their targets.

Iran, the world may not say it openly, but we stand with you against the Epstein clan who wish to impose their imperialism. God bless Iran! May this holy month of Ramadan, end American-Israeli hegemony once and for all and pave the way for a multi-polar world.

Iran won't blow up the island but will try to retake it. Through a negotiated settlement or brute force. Launching missiles at the island is unlikely- it is the beating heart of Iran. They cannot risk damage to the infrastructure on that island. May be it's a bluff to get Iran to give in?

Bro their main aim is to take control of your oil not destroying it. Go and check what happened with Venezuela. You really think this war is about stopping you getting a nuclear bomb lol. This has been a US policy after second world war either have a timid US friendly govt in oil producing countries or bring a war to have one there.
So what you’re saying is that US troops will occupy the island and American companies will pump and sell the oil while Iran watches?
The strait is closed. Taking the island does nothing but put American troops in danger. Its nothing but a desperate move to press Iran to surrender/accept ceasefire.

Bro, if this is the reference for your earlier posts, then lets use credible sources. Especially when you start throwing out numbers in Billions of USD ...

The guy spent first 3 mins of video apologizing for giving out fake info, a day back .... Then he immediately started throwing wild theories about what KSA / Pakistan might be doing, based on his imagination ..

Every news should have a credible source from someone who is at some decision making position or has some proven journalistic sources or available references of if they can cite such sources clearly. Otherwise there are a million people on YouTube with their own personal theories about everything.

It is a reckless move and may well be Trump’s best attempt at a quick victory. He is a very dangerous individual. He can't seem to tolerate losing - and before military analysts laugh at me for suggesting USA can plausibly "lose", all it takes for an American loss on paper is the survival of Iran as an antagonistic nation state with its government sustained and some residual ability to strike Israel with rockets or missiles. Arguably, even a prolonged conflict of attrition can be construed as an "American loss" in this context, which is why Trump is willing to be reckless for an attempt at a quick victory. Iran needs to continue to understand his psyche and ego and use that to their advantage.

All this madness to cover for Israeli expansionist fantasies.

American citizens need to ask themselves and their government if it is all really worth it to let this psychotic colonial apartheid outpost murder kids across the middle east. Has USA not simply picked the wrong side since 1948?
What can Iran do against a power which has essentially unlimited resources, because from what I'm seeing barely a dent has been made to these people. They fly in and out with ease dropping bomb after bomb essentially unscathed (look at the ratio of casualties). I said this before, this is all just disheartening at this point.... Only China has the tech and resources to keep up with this madness, everybody else is game. If you want to argue about time and draining resources of the US I just don't see Iran being able to keep going.... Was Iraq truly a failure? They got their resources and had their fun and were able to establish their selves further....
The only way I see the US getting destroyed is internally or through divine intervention. Their F22S and F35s are unscathed happily flying decimating everyone. Iran has barely been able to do any damage.

Till I see their jets and soldiers burning in large numbers I will remain disheartened. Muslims have mostly been utter fools twiddling their thumbs whilst the west has propelled itself a century ahead of us. 0 major innovations or inventions from our side we have nothing to show other than death, destruction and loss after loss. The only true loss for the US would be like what they have done to our neighboring nations, left them in tatters, and internally they probably know this too. They don't care because they can afford to endure.

@RescueRanger do you see any parallels with this story and current situation
A postman had been delivering letters all day in pouring rain. By late afternoon he was soaked, muddy, and exhausted.
He had just one final letter left, but unfortunately it was two miles down a narrow country lane.
By the time he reached the house he looked like he’d been mud wrestling.
He shut the garden gate, turned around…
…and suddenly a massive Rottweiler jumped up, putting two huge paws on his chest.
The postman froze.
Just then a little old lady leaned out of the upstairs window and shouted,
“Don’t worry, son! Just kick his balls!”
The postman yelled back,
“WHAT?!”
She shouted again,
“Kick his balls and he'll leave you alone! - he loves it”
Now the postman was wearing heavy size-12 steel-toe boots, the proper military kind.
So he took a step back and WHACK! — booted the dog square between the legs.
The dog let out a terrible howl took a step back and growled angrily at the postie.
The old lady screamed,
“You’re in BIG trouble now!”
The postman gasped,
“Why?! You told me to kick his balls!”
The old lady sighed and said,
“I meant the squeaky ones on the lawn beside you!”
😆

Yes this I worried. Iran in desperation will target regional energy infrastructure. If they target Saudis Arab than Pakistan will be involved as well. This will be a huge mess. Complete chaos in the region. Ugly days ahead.
What we will offer more than US and Israil against Iran? Daily expenditure of US is close to 1.8b, Israil's seprate...US is using f35s, F22s, F15s, F16s, B2, B52, B1s, Thousands of Interceptors to defend its interests, Three career groups and what not.. What are we going to get involved with, Which US does not possess and using right now? Nuclear weapons Or are you hoping of sending of Pak army battalions with tanks, artilleries inside Iran to fulfill a decade old wishes of conquering iran again of certain groups? lol..

KSA offered US 1.5trillions dollars in investment and purchased weapons of worth more than 200 Bn $, Will they offer us the same? If they do than its a good deal, 200b is a lot of money. otherwise im yet to see anything new which we can use against iran to inflict pain on them.

It's a jugular line for Iranian economy. Iran will do their best not to get it destroyed either by US or by themselves in case of US invasion. Don't understand why some posters are not getting it.

Please be rational and logical.

USA has enough oil for itself through its control of the economy of countless friendly (and pacified) nations' resources.

The aim is to DEPRIVE ISRAEL'S RIVAL OF THAT RIVAL'S OWN OIL.

If USA can seize the oil, that is a bonus, but if not, they are happy to condemn Israel's only enemy in the region to a future without its main income generator.

Found the Pakistani. Don't talk about people who aren't like you. Followers of Hussein (a.s.) and Ali (a.s.), if they were like Pakistanis, they would have folded years ago. But I could see why you see yourself as helpless. Its the passive, docile South Asian gene-pool.

Its high time there is a negotiated settlement between Iran and US.

An unpopular opinion but this needs to be done.

Lol US will not stop with one island. They will take complete control of Strait of Hormuz one by one. They are not stupid to waste billions already.

their plans to give the region to the Israelis and then concentrate on China.

I'm trippling down on to the aspect that BIBI khusra is dead....
It is so weird that

1. He didn't visit US in past few days... Usually in a situation like this he comes in to address the HOUSE yet which is sort of habitual thing for him just like showing up at UN with charts and pics...
2. No statement over synagogue situation which happened in US and Norway.. usually he would be having a field day with this sort of thing with his usual rants..
3. All of his recent videos he is speaking in vague terminology which can be fit to any situation not about current situation on the ground... Such as opening up a Hezbollah front.. I mean he would be saying something about that usually he be talking about blessed land cursed land ABRAHAM accord's... Even that's not being discussed...
Very very weird....
