Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

You do realize if you actually looked on a map where Kharg is there is no land invasion coming.

Good luck holding a 20KM little island right next to Iran and with the strait closed. Iran will just divert the oil to Jask or another terminal.

The reason it likes using Kharg is for VLCCs can easily berth. But during an existential war that isn’t a priority.
Taking over Kharg Island doesnt make military or strategic sense other than improving bargaining position at the dialogue table. The takeover wouldn't change or effect the military position at the strait and the threat of sea traffic interdiction will remain until the takeover of whole of the Iranian coast. If America commit to the ground offensive or takeover of any portion of Iranian coast then we will witness a textbook example of mission creep.

Pakistan does need to ask Saudi to stop allowing the US to use their airspace, and their bases for refuelling tankers, drones and EW equipment to be hosted and deployed from. The targeting of 5 USAF shows that Saudi is an "active" participant.

That MQ-4C from Saudi means that they are an ACTIVE participant in the war and therefore fair game.
Very disappointed that they are active participant, we are expecting Saudi Arabia should act smart but it is not.

All of these Arab countries make us look at Iran's problems instead of Israel aggressive, what the heck man.

Also, there is a rumor from the Air Force circle, which has probably already been reported

The Iraqis attacked 2 KC-135, shot down the KC-135 we know, and they were attacking the other, but that one landed safely in Israel.

This is not a refuelling accident like the Pentagon claims because KC-135 don't refuel each other.

Take it as you may

Yes, they literally do refuel each other

First of all, I didn't say that, I said there is a rumor in the Air Force circle.

Second,. You do realise the picture depicts two different planes, right? A 4-engine refuelling a plane with 2 engines. I don't think KC-135 has a 2-engine version. If I have to guess, that's a P-8 in this picture

By the way, according to Wikipedia, there is only 1 version of KC-135 that is receiver-capable. That's RC-135RT, and the US only have 3 of them
