I assure you, the people at Baykar are intimately familiar with the lessons from the Ukraine war, more so than most Drone manufacturers and defense companies. Baykar was the first to enter Ukraine and has remained there and expanded the strategic partnership with Ukraine.

Acording to BAYKAR , K-2 is also cheap
Compared to conventional military guided munitions with equivalent range, its cost is approximately one-fiftieth ( 1/50 )

and dont compare dumb Shahed-136 with highly smart K-2 with better technologies and 200 kg warhead

More importantly, K-2 has the capability for much faster mass production and a higher production capacity compared to similar systems.

-- NO AI-powered autonomous swarm flight (Shahed-136 no true autonomy/swarm)

-- Shahed-136 vulnerable to jamming , while the K-2 with AI-based visual navigation, GPS-denied/EW-resistant

-- Shahed-136 is one-way kamikaze Drone , while the K-2 designed for multiple missions if not kamikaze ... (can return if not expended)

yk why shahed 136 is dumb? cuz its cheap .

Its almost like in the modern battlefield, you need a combination, not a one platform fit all situation.

Sometimes you need to hit it with something harder that the Shahed can't hit it with. And you don't want to use up a High End Cruise missile. ESPECIALLY IN A WAR OF ATTRITION.

Look at Ukraine, you think the Ukrainians are dumb building and using it to great effect?

We are not talking about hypotheticals, we are talking about use cases that have been documented. Baykar didn't build this as a hypothetical, they saw Ukraine do it and have success with it, and copied it and improved the concept further.

For Turkiye , K-2 is cheap which has bigger economy ( GDP Nominal ) than Iran+Pakistan+Egypt+Greece combined

also rich Arab Countries S.Arabia , Qatar , Kuwait , etc can buy the K-2 against Iran

Israeli HAROP costs $700.000 per unit
The K-2 likely in the $100.000 - $200,000 range per unit

You know what I thought about when I saw this @MMM-E

Imagine there is a high priority target being guarded by a SHORAD system, and you launch something like this, you slowly come close to a target via a jammer pod or a bigger EW aircraft or maybe just slipping through on your own. you get close, you launch your two shaheds, to take out the SHORAD system guarding the facility, and before they have a time to react, you go in with the big boy in a Kamikazi dive and take out the entire facility with a 200kg warhead.

That solution is all in one system. Then you add on that this thing is autonomous and can fly in a swarm with 6 other such drones, and lets say they all carry 2 shaheds each. Then they are autonomously making targeting decisions and allocating how many of them should be sacrificed to take out a target, and when to return, or if something looks improbably if they should pull back to base. Then you add in that it doesn't need to be a shahed, it can be an air to air loitering drone thats carried, this things really starts coming to life as a motherships in swarm tactics.

The K-2 can carry 2 KEMANKES mini Cruise Missiles to hit AD Systems , then attack on target facility with 200 kg warhead

10 K-2s with 20 KEMANKES mini Cruise Missiles ( total of 30 attack weapons ) for swarm attack
