Gotta love France, they still want to portray themselves as some major world player and power, they have a highly self-inflated image of themselves and massive egos.

Last week they were saying they are going to deploy ships there purely as a "defensive mission", and the minute Iran threatened to target those ships, they immediately back down. LOL

They could be playing good cop (E3) bad cop (US) here. France, UK, and Germany are allowing US military use their territory to attack Iran. They are also fuelling Israeli war planes as well. So when they say they aren't participating, they only mean they aren't dropping the bombs. But they are very much participant.

Their territories can't really be used to attack Iran, they are way too far away.
 
I think Iran should try to cause some divisions, allow British/EU ships through but not American, can guarantee Trump will be fuming.
