Close to 100k of us civilians along with 100k miliatrymen has been martyred in last two decade, from inside mosques to school to hosiptal but nobody specially Afghans batted an eye!Have taliban ever apologised for killing Pakistanis through their proxies?
They spit on your faces instead.
Why must Pakistan abide by a moral code? An eye for an eye.
They were military targets and if there is collateral then so be it.
This is war. taliban are free to surrender along with TTP and BLA live on television.
Kabul is burning again
again we didnt
Brother, two things:The issue is that TTP's core ideology is subconsciously acceptable in the entire Pakistan (that no law will be made against Islam). Listen Bajur people jirga who went for dialogue.
Taking down their field commanders and gadgets should be the priority IMO. Anyway, Game Theory dictates that it'll go to higher rungs over time since it's now becoming a zero-sum game. The Afgan Pastuns have got an Iblis-like audacity vis-a-vis Pakistan. Is it due to jealousy?
So you just take whatever BBC reports as scripture?
I would question even that high a number given the fact that BBC itself has nobody on the ground and quoted an Afghan source: "forensic laboratory sources told the BBC." Quoted from your link above. Guess whose "forensic laboratory" this is? Of course the Taliban's.
Second, the UN report says the following:
"On 16 March at around 9pm in Kabul, an airstrike carried out by Pakistan military forces impacted the Omid Addiction Treatment Hospital, a healthcare facility for the treatment of drug-addicted individuals, dozens of whom were reportedly killed and injured." Quoted from the official UNAMA statement: https://unama.unmissions.org/en/press-releases/unama-statement-airstrike-medical-facility-kabul
Neither the BBC nor the UN have themselves confirmed the casualties with their own resources on the ground and given the state of Afghan Taliban control over their media and sources, these claims remain dubious. This is not to say no civilian died, but the sources are dubious given that none of these sources have their own people reporting and they are "attributing".
I highlight this because this is the ONLY option available to the Takfiris. To use the media/SM (with support from RSS bigots) to make their case as the victims which they are patently not.
Agree with the first part. But with less than 0.8% education budget (primary, higher and religious) this is not possible.Brother, two things:
a.) When you raise an entire nation on extremist narratives, confused religious nationalism, and submission to the "ummah", what do you expect will happen when someone who appears as a more extreme form of Islam goes against you? There will be sympathy. While nations built their society's on valuing things like education, technology, history, & culture — Pakistan promoted medeival extremism to its people and created zombies.
This is our politicians, generals, and scholars' mistakes.
b.) When you are not able to do your full job properly by countering the extremist group's propaganda, then their narrative will remain dominant.
Pakistan could use its own scholars and media departments to systematically expose and refute their claims, these people are literally tribal extremists, chronic drug abusers, bacha baaz, extreme dehumanisation of women, and nasal parasts.
What they want is the rule of Jahilya like it was before Islam and where they can manifest their neo-nazi Loy Afghanistan, but shroud it all in Islamic garments, why? Because they know Pakistanis are idiots who will eat it up, partially due to our own indoctrination of ourselves.
Agree with the first part. But with less than 0.8% education budget (primary, higher and religious) this is not possible.
