Turkey Greece Relations and Maritime Disputes

Historical animosity aside it is clear that Greece is not engaging this topic in honest faith. Spain is a great example of a country that uses common sense when dealing with it's neighbor.

Using small islets (looking at you Kastellorizo) to block a major neighbors access to Maritime resources is for lack of a better term "taking the p*ss". Their may be reasons from a Greek pov why they are acting this way (historical grievances, containing stronger neighbor etc) but for an outsider it is clear that Greece is using legal means to behave in a dishonest manner.

Everyone who accepts Greek EEZ delimitation of Turkish coast is a full blown retard.

While Turkish delimitation reaching to Libya is sane?

No, i didnt claim that.

Turkish delimitation to Libya is what i think a reaction at the limitation of Kastellorizo. Both are exxagerated.

The whole EEZ delimitation between both countries should be open to negotiation, but Greece reject negotiations. They just wanna meet to talk for talk.

I think Greece wants Turkey to finally sign UNCLOS and then have normal negotations. The problem is that Turkey rejects islands having EEZ and hence demands half the Aegean. The Kastellorizo EEZ could probably be easily fixed between the two countries, provided Turkey doesn't try to cutoff Greece from having a common EEZ with Cyprus.

you say contradictory things, how can you "fix Kastellorizo EEZ" and still have a common EEZ with cyprus?

By your own seville map logic, the only way to connect to Cyprus is to give Meis/Kastellorizo EEZ otherwise, it dips down after Rhodes.

You are just sprouting abstract BS about "fixes" foinikas.

You split half of it between Turkey and Greece. And give the Kastellorizo complex a simple 6 mile EEZ,basically an enclave inside the Turkish EEZ that will move southwards and meet the Greek that will touch the Cypriot one.

I thought this was haram and illegal according to your map. lol

,basically an enclave inside the Turkish EEZ

If its an enclave inside the Turkish EEZ, foinikas its by definition not going to touch Cyprus foinikas. You really haven't thought this through and making it up as you go huh?

Why do you mock me when your only solution is "take everything"?

This is what I'm talking about

Idk what Im looks it, are you talking about the red or the blue for blue part of Kastelorizo? neither connects to cyprus and neither is contiguous to the rest of greece.

You are just making this up on the fly. lol

Why do you mock me when your only solution is "take everything"?

My solution is no EEZ for Meis/Kastelorizo as a starting point of negotiations, the rest can be negotiated.

lol no lol lol lol no lol

It's what I told you earlier. The blue part could be Kastellorizo's EEZ and Turkey could get the red part below it and Greece still have a connection to Cyprus.

How the heck will Greece have a common EEZ with South Cyprus? There is maybe 1000 km between Crete and South Cyprus.

lol no lol lol lol no lol

That makes no sense, Kastelorizo is why there is a connection to cyprus to begin with, so there is no logic in how the EEZ is being determined, its just arbitrary.

I have better solution, you give me Meis. There is already a nice mosque there. lol, if there is no island, then no EEZ issues.

So you admit islands can have a 200 nm EEZ?
