A-10 Planes and Apache Helicopters Join Air Campaign Against Iran​

American A-10 attack planes and Apache attack helicopters are now striking Iranian targets on Iran’s southern flank, said Gen. Dan Caine, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
The A-10s are striking Iranian fast-attack boats in the Strait of Hormuz, which Iran has essentially closed to maritime traffic, Caine said. The U.S. Air Force has long sought to retire the A-10 to save funds to develop more advanced planes. But the A-10, with its nose-mounted 30-millimeter gun, has proved to be useful in past air campaigns against insurgents and now against Iranian targets.

This is more about helicopters and a10s engaging unmanned kamikaze boats of Iran over Hurmuz strait not coastal patrol where they can be taken down by entrenched manpad crews. Similar to Iran has the need of arming manpads with shaheed 136s against helicopters they also need to arm the unmanned kamikaze boats against helicopters as well.



At least some of the unmanned vessels need to be armed with these protecting the other kamikaze boats.

Why aren't you calling for Pakistan to directly engage Israel? Don't you have nuclear weapons? Don't you have advanced fighter jets, and a navy, and literally hundreds of times stronger and more capable than us when we have none of that?

Why the hypocrisy? Why not call for Pakistan to engage directly against Israel if it matters so much for you, why are you only more than happy to volunteer our blood and our destruction for your priorities and what you deem most important right now?

Did you pay any attention to yesterday's Under-oath presentation by Tulsi Gabbard and her statements about Pakistan?
Pakistan would have ceased to exist if it tried to punch above its weight while facing a mighty, Western-backed country like India and the ever-present rental-state like Afghanistan. Pakistan is going to safeguard its territorial integrity, even if it means fighting over a sliver of land like the Siachen Glacier. It is for the Syrians to do decide what to do in case of a regional war. But I hope they are not as short sighted as you are!!
