Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

I honestly don't think anything has happened to him at all. Iran does not have that capability. I think this is more about maintaining a low profile in front of the American audience so that the message of "this is Israel's war" is not reinforced. Every word he would say would get echoed across the USA media, and he is deliberately avoiding that. He wants Trump to own this, and not put across that this is "Israel's war" etc.
Even if what you said is a spin it's a masterpiece of spin .

I think I am done arguing with you. But... maybe the last attempt: Israel occupies some strategic land close to the Syrian capital Damascus--taken even more land after the so-called 'Peace' came to Syria and may even take more land in future. Pakistan also fought the Superpowers (the Soviets and the Americans) indirectly, Pakistan also lost a lot in economy and innocent dead--and since 1980-- but Pakistan still fought on, even for the tiny sliver of 20,000+ ft elevation of the Siachen Glacier.

So my advice to the saner elements of the Syrian society remains: Join the fray in case of a regional war and take back your land unless you want to say goodbye to your land for a long time, if not for generations.

Land is good. Strategic land is priceless!

This is why I have so little sympathy for the Official Government of Lebanon that is soo keen to roll over and give up land to Israel and then complains to everyone about it. If you, yourself are not prepared to protect your sovereignty or territorial integratory then don't expect anyone else to do it for you. If the current local fighters can blunt the invasion, then a mobilisation of the whole of the Lebanese people of hundreds of thousands of men, can also stop Israel. Israel can mobilise her population, and Lebanon, even Syria need to start doing the same. Both countries now cannot support large fixed sized armies, fine, but nor can Israel. The model that both Syria and Lebanon should then adopt is mass mobilisation of the population when required, mandatory training for all men of age and then be on the hook to be mobilised when required.

Lebanon is on track to lose everything south of the Litani river for all of time now. Israel will never give that back no matter how hard Lebanon cries. Lebanon must defend its land, regardless of how this started.

If Israel decides to take more Syrian land, will the new leadership say, no more - we will defend our land?

Iran fought for its land, in the Iran-Iraq war, and was prepared to pay a heavy price for it.

Its week 3, its reasonable to ponder what Irans strategy will remain.

At the moment its a war of attrition and US Israel are trying their best to bomb every weapon they can but those underground fortresses seem to be a big challenge. Then Iran has the scorched earth card which you can see is like a nuke itself.

The two stooges have realised regime change is unlikely so they ate trying their second objective which is to degrade Irans missile capability, for Israel its also to destroy Iran as much as possible so it is not a threat for decades.

5000 marines wont be tipping the balance of this conflict so like all conflicts trumpy will need to negotiate a ceasefire. He probably wants the strongest hand possible which means trying to reopen the straits and make Irans drone and missile strikes reduce to insignificant. If he fails Iran has a strong position.

However reparations and removal of US bases from the region is unlikely to happen which worries me this conflict could go on until we see total meltdown of oil and gas infrastructure.

Pakistan has been at war since early 1980 from Afghanistan and low intensity conflicts with India for a chunk of Pakistan's history, plus the foreign engineered insurgencies. It has depleted Pakistan's economy, killed tens of thousands of Pakistanis, sown plenty of domestic discord. But ceding any territory is unacceptable to Pakistan and thus even for the tiny sliver of the Siachen Glacier, Pakistanis have been fighting for four decades.

Now compare that with our Syrian friend @Haz who seems Okay to buy the peace even if that means permanently losing the Golan Heights and the newly acquired Syrian territories by Israel. As I said a couple of days ago: Syrians should join Hezbollah to defend not only Lebanon's territorial loss but also to take back the Syrian territory in this 'Now or Never' War.
Grievance is to high I mean you are right but before that should have be several dozen of public taubas from every side and i am not sure if it would be enough, evil blood is still strong and fresh for such event.
