KABUL (Ariana News): The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) spent this past solar year – 1402 – trying to gain international recognition and take up its seat in the United Nations.

Due to certain policies, and restrictions against Afghan women and girls, the international community has not only imposed sanctions on the government but has also worked to isolate the IEA.

Western consensus has been that the IEA needs to revise some policies including those relating to human and women’s rights.

But in addition to these problems, the Islamic Emirate made progress in diplomatic relations with some countries in 1402 – China being the first to send an official ambassador to Kabul. In turn, Beijing followed suit by welcoming the IEA’s ambassador.

Some Afghan embassies, however, that are still run by diplomats appointed by the previous government, slowly started forging ties with the IEA – including the Netherlands and Spain.

Over the past year, diplomats aligned with the Islamic Emirate also took control of the Afghan embassy and consulates in India.

In 1402, Turkmenistan removed the name of the Islamic Emirate from the list of sanctions and terrorist groups in that country.

In the meantime, Iran, Afghanistan’s western neighbor, became embroiled in a spat with the IEA over the issue of water rights from the Helmand River.
Relations with Pakistan also soured somewhat, as Islamabad has accused the IEA of letting Tehreek-e-Taliban hideout in the country.

These tensions came to a head when Islamabad implemented the process of forced deportation of more than one million Afghan immigrants.

But analysts believe that the neighboring countries and the region have not been able to agree on a specific policy for interaction with the Islamic Emirate.

According to them, the realization of this agreement requires the implementation of conditions set by these countries and the international community, including the formation of an inclusive government, and respect for the rights of women and girls; and ethnic and religious minorities by the Islamic Emirate.

This year, the IEA’s cabinet remained a caretaker government, although dozens of former former government officials and politicians continued to return home.

However, the Islamic Emirate considers the year 1402 as full of achievements and emphasizes that in this year, progress has been made in all fields, especially in terms of expanding relations with other countries.

However, the spokesman of the Islamic Emirate considers the lack of global legitimacy to be driven by a few countries – countries which influence the UN.

The Islamic Emirate currently has 38 active diplomatic missions in countries. In addition, Azerbaijan recently said it wants to open an embassy in Kabul.
Experts say however, 1403 will be a telling year, in terms of whether the IEA is recognized as the legitimate government or not.

The recognition of Emirate of Afghanistan is important but not necessary. The Afghan government has find a middle ground and follow examples of other Muslims states. The Islamic government of Pakistan and Iran allows women to attend schools, colleges and universities. The Afghan Taliban policies regarding girls education are due to extreme conservative Pakhtun society and their own interpretation of Islam. They must allow education for girls as Rasul-allah hadith says “Seek knowledge even if you have to go as far as China”. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "The seeking of knowledge is obligatory for every Muslim." - Al-Tirmidhi.

Rasul-allah hadith says “Seek knowledge even if you have to go as far as China”

This is a fake hadith.

Afghanistan only requires recognition from the GCC. This will allow the Afghan laborers to work in the rich middle eastern countries and make a living. Pakistani recognition for Afghan Taliban is a nice to have, but not compulsory as the border crossing to allow trade seems to happen anyway. Chinese recognition is also not required as Chinese mining companies operate today regardless of official recognition.

wardi mafias recognition is not important

I find it it confusing as to what they have done with female education.

Ok let's say in future an Afghan mother and sister will need to see a medical physician for a health issue. They will ask for one but they're be none available due to absence of female medical graduates.

So technically they are not fulfilling their Islamic obligation.....

They need to do so much more in order for nations to establish ties.

Kabul:
Afghan universities were declared off limits to women because female students were not following instructions including a proper dress code, the Taliban's minister for higher education said Thursday.

The ban announced earlier this week is the latest restriction on women's rights in Afghanistan ordered by the Taliban since their return to power in August last year.

It has drawn global outrage, including from Muslim nations who deemed it against Islam, and from the Group of Seven industrialized democracies who said the prohibition may amount to "a crime against humanity".

But Neda Mohammad Nadeem, the minister for higher education in the Taliban government, insisted Thursday that women students had ignored Islamic instructions -- including on what to wear or being accompanied by a male relative when travelling.

"Unfortunately after the passing of 14 months, the instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education of the Islamic Emirate regarding the education of women were not implemented," Nadeem said in an interview on state television.

"They were dressing like they were going to a wedding. Those girls who were coming to universities from home were also not following instructions on hijab."

Nadeem also said some science subjects were not suitable for women. "Engineering, agriculture and some other courses do not match the dignity and honour of female students and also Afghan culture," he said.

ISLAMABAD —
The Taliban have reportedly allowed female high school graduates in Afghanistan to enroll in state-run medical institutes for the new academic year that begins in March.

The enrollment process has begun in more than a dozen Afghan provinces, following a directive from the Ministry of Public Health in Kabul, the Taliban-run official Bakhtar news agency said Tuesday. It provided no further information.

I maintain they're all secretly either gay, which is why they don't mind their women dying of cureable diseases, or they're cucks that want their women to be touched by other men, and the best way for them to get away with it is by letting male doctors touch them.
