I always thought Iran’s Mullahs, for all their unnecessary religious fervour, were corruption free. Not just that but lived modest lives unlike their western enemies and Arab step brothers.

This war proves it beyond absolute doubt.

They have spent their money wisely and made it go far.

Obviously, what you point out is a matter of great concern for any Iranian, and that partly explains the knee-jerk responses of some individuals in this thread, other than their customary and legendary zeal and fervor.

This is going to be a long and drawn out conflict, unfortunately, that is likely to end one way or another, without a viable stalemate, I am afraid.

remember my prediction about Iran . It surprises me they were were under their blocket for 40 years and they didn't try to understand their opponent. Their culture, their traditions, their history.
Now they're paying the price and they're going to lose their world power status

war could end if:

1. war reparations are made
2. written guarantee of no future attacks is made(bank guarantee; cashable when promise is broken)

war could end, if people can think maturely

No guarantees will ever, ever, ever be enough when it comes to US and israel. The day they end the war, they will block any transactions to Iranian banks, put back sanctions on Iran and start threatening Iran once again. Then the cycle will repeat for the 4th time.

Remember, these are the same two countries who were negotiating with Iran for weeks, so that in the background, they can gather the movements of Khamenei to launch an attack. They can never be trusted with any promises and they will find their way around any guarantees.

The only guarantee Iran can get .. and which will show the sincerity of US, will be to ask US to vacate its bases .. ask for end to War in Lebanon and Gaza and ask for end to West bank settlements.

Unless US agrees for these, they won't be sincere in anything else either.
