are we all convinced Trump cares about high oil prices? One look at his donor list suggests most will reap a 60 billion dollar windfall from high oil prices. I'm not convinced it's not the intended consequence he hoped for and I don't think he gives a damn about his political future or that of the republican party. @AZ_HighCountry @Hamartia Antidote - thoughts?
This. Again and again and again.

He does not work for USA. Folks will differ on whether he works for Israel, a small cabal of investors, or both. But definitely not for USA.

🇮🇷 🪖 Hamas: Iran is 'defense line for the entire Muslim nation'

🔊 "We view with immense pride the powerful rocket strikes carried out by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, targeting areas deep within the criminal enemy entity using new tactics," Hamas armed wing’s spokesperson Abu Obeida said.

This is a response not only to the ongoing US-Israeli aggression against Iran but also to the Gaza genocide, he added.

💬 "This Nazi-Zionist enemy understands only the language of force and responding to a blow with two, and making it pay a heavy price is what will force it to stop its aggression," Obeida concluded.

Now that the wealthy expats have left UAE, and money is moving out of UAE, what is the economic model to pay all these Indians ?

If people start getting fired(which we are seeing happen from some reports here), then when does the unrest start? How will the local UAE population control this, when they are outnumbered 10:1 by Indians ????

Are we going to witness India, take over UAE ????

The emirati gulfis are soon to become bud bud ding dings.

This is his final term so he's focused on his legacy whatever that may be.

Was having a long discussion Friday with a Marine brother. We're both pondering the same questions regarding high oil prices and the rising cost of gasoline and diesel.

The question is, if he does not care about the republican party, then what "should" the republican party do about it? What can it do about it? What should the republican party do about it ?

Does the republican party have any sense of self preservation ? Does the republican party need to sit there quietly while trump goes about burying them ?!

Surely, the republican party can't be a passive actor in all this if it is concerned ?
Good question, I wonder if a recession will get them to act? I suppose the longer this war lasts the probability of impeachment increases. Does he care? I doubt it. Do I think the war will last? I don't think an invasion is imminent - who starts a ground war in the middle east in the summer? Both parties are now on the edge of a massive escalation to see who blinks first. Assuming the next ledge is Iran cripples gulf oil infrastructure and Iran's is destroyed in return. Then what? Who benefits? Who is the biggest loser? All of us will definitely get poorer, lay offs, bankruptcies, unemployment galore. Food shortages, energy crisis ...,

but who wins? Not Iran, Not the US nor Israel. Not China. Saudi, Russia will win big. Sure Saudi will have to rebuild oil and gas infrastructure they have money to get it done quickly while they continue to reap the rewards of high oil prices.
