Not a "strange strategy".

He is forced into this position. Iran is fighting against USA, Israel, and Trump's ego - Trump's ego is the weakest of these belligerent parties. I would suggest that it is Iranian strategy that keeps Trump flip flopping and in a state of non-committal.

The overarching concern, as stated before, is that nuclear weapons remain on the table for deployment.

That is just unique. I cant mention another nation whose people would put a note like that. In israel - theyd say take what you want - after the war you can pay……..with interstate incured

Iran can order on loan some smaller mini mobile power plants from China. Ukraine is using decentralized power plants and building them as well. Since it is a humanitarian issue China can provide those items in my opinion through Pakistan.

Irans response would also have huge impact. For example Yemen can close bab al mandab strait and it would be another Hurmuz strait where unaligned ships need to pay in Yuan instead of dollars in order to pass.
