Actually, I was one of those people that believed they would absolutely attempt to kill Khamenei. I didn't think they would get him so easily because I thought Khamenei had been moved to a safe bunker, but I was wrong on that one.

I get your point, but nuclear fallout is something entirely different. It will put millions of Iranians at risk and decontamination will be a nightmare. Tehran is a megacity.

I think an invasion of the Qeshm Island makes sense. It will help them control the Strait of Hormuz and it will give Trump the closure he badly needs. He will say he invaded Iranian territory and managed to keep the strait open to navigation.

Ballistic missile and drone programs were a huge success that a limited number of planes built or bought(also considering delivery issues from Russia) under sanctions could not achieve.

Anti drone/aircraft mobile lightweight sam systems like 358 and Majid were a huge success too. I pray mini-submarines would also do some significant moves later on as well.

High altitude radar based sams like bawar-373 and Khordad were not successful though but It couldnt be known beforehand. Jamming, saturation attacks and stealth negates most of their usefullness. Some paradigm shift is necessary for high altitude defense. Are all Karrar drones destroyed for example. They can do some moves against enemy aircraft patrolling around sensitive areas like Iranian nuclear powerplants that are under immediate threat for example.

Attaching a mini high altitude capable a2a missile like R60 is not difficult Russians did it on shaheeds. 2+ R60s can be installed on high altitude capable Karrar. Airfields are not necessary since it can be launched by rato and recovered by parachute.

Also there are new cheaper stealthy drones that are used for emulating targets. But looking at the shape it seems it is not that easy to lock on them by airplanes at least. Attaching a lightweight missile like R60 under its body would not be too difficult. while flying at 8-10km altitude enemy planes flying higher like 14-15kms wont see the R60 under its body from most angles. It cant be made bvr air to air capable or it cant carry missiles inside its body but within visual range they can be pretty effective guided by a ground radar(passive preferrably).

I don't think that, that is sound thinking. You don't put all your eggs in one basket. Strategy is and should be multi-pronged. They need to consider all different threat vectors and dimensions. Yes now they can keep their weapons/forces safe underground but the Iranian public is exposed to direct threats from their enemies.

Now having said that, I understand that Iran has been under sanctions and probably have been resource starved and went towards the easiest but restricted path towards defense via missile offense. The results have been good considering that.

Biggest challenge is that a countries defense forces are there to protect the citizens of the country. That part is compromised with enemy having air supremacy. Especially, considering that Iran is dealing with two madmen with apocalyptic designs..

63 Lebanese resistance operations against centers, Zionist military bases and gatherings

Lebanon's Hezbollah announced in a statement through "Declaration of War" that it has carried out 63 military operations against the military positions and centers of the Zionist regime in the past 24 hours in defense of the Lebanese soil and people.

A Claim Has Been Made That At Least 1,281 Israelis Have Been Killed During The Iran War

This was produced by Tasnim News’s Hebrew Unit, who said that an average of 61 Israelis are being killed per day as a result of the war, a figure they drew from analysing Israeli cemetery data.
