I doubt there is a need for the carrier when GCC airbases can be used by US aircraft as well as the UAE shoreline. GCC air forces will likely provide additional air cover and may even participate in the assault. You could also see seizure of those three islands that Iran has a dispute with UAE over.
I didn’t say they were targeting civilians because if they were Bahrain and many other gcc states don’t have the luxury having bomb shelters every other block because if the Iranian were directing their fire at civilians there would thousands of dead by now, but a large of Bahrain is going up in smoke the price you pay
