They wont use nukes even having high caulties. They will prefer to hide casualties. That is because of logic not magic. After giving heu if that is on the table Iran should think of nuclear deterrence even without having nuclear weapons. With thinking good deterrence would still exist even without nukes.

I think you know what I was saying. If Iranians had accepted the 'negotiations' before this war was launched then they would be killed anyway but without any defenses next time.
In the proposed negotiations, because Iranians have now proven to have capabilities to not only fight back but also to choke the global economy, there is the removal of all sanctions on Iran as part of the American proposal and that was not on the offer before.

As we saw from JCPOA, sanctions can be put back on at the slightest whim. Disarmament cannot be reversed. Limiting missiles is a non-starter. No enrichment/removing HEU should also be a non-starter. Sanctions removal should be in exchange for opening Hormuz under full Iranian administration.

The Israeli lobby in Trump administration has convinced him that the US should send the troops to enter from a position of strength during possible negotiations. They have told Trump that there won't be a need for boots on the ground. Trump is ok with this proposal but a lot hesitant on actually sending the troops within few kilometers of the Iranian drones and missiles.

And the lobby knows that Iran will continue to ignore whatever the US does, instead it is ready to further escalate. If Pete Hegseth remains the secretary of defense, it is not far fetched to assume that Iran's continued escalation will make it easy for him to convince Trump (who is right now regretting his decision to start the war in the first place without taking the congress into confidence) for authorizing ground incursion.

The war could go either way but the likelihood of the US loosing 100s (if not 1000s) of marines is very high. Linsey, Pete and Marco know this, but they are Christian Zionists and they have already paved the way for Israel's glory. Ultimately, the US will be able to control some part of Iran necessary for the safety of the strait, but will have to pay a very heavy price.
