If I remember correctly this same group has martyred army doctor,Colonel and major and multiple other high profile ambushes. Why do it's still operating with such impunity. Such locals needs to thrown out to Afghanistan regardless of them being afghans or Pakistani.

But I mean it's obvious that local support is pretty high when many essentially share the same ideology. There are entire political groups operating on Afghan nationalism, Taliban is merely the tribal militant version of it.

This is probably first of its kind where not a single bullet was fired on these Ts. They just walked in and take everything without any resistance from police.Looks a job from inside moles in LEAs ranks. IBOs are meant to be proactive but you can only do so much in an insurgency with local support that doesn't cross domestic backlash.

Realistically you need to tell the tribes in the area to stop giving space or manpower, etc, etc but that is far easier said than done when sympathy for various reasons exist. You essentially risk escalating.
