In this article by former Israeli defense Minister Yoav Gallant on 'The Free Press', the idea is to seize Kharg island by any means, no matter what the cost and then use it as a bargaining chip to make Iran accept all conditions of the US and israel.

..... which seems like a relevant plan on paper ..... but how the US plans to "hold" the island without their army getting decimated, is another matter ... not to mention the Iranian retaliation against israel, in that case

I could be wrong but from I remember about the missile it descends slower than the other missiles far more accurate but can also be interpreted easier maybe they want to keep making sure the Israelis expend more of their interceptors before they use that I could be wrong @Persian Gulf @Immortals know more

UAE, Kuwait and Bahrain are not really 'nation-states'. They are essentially forward bases of remote, imperial powers.
This video, if you watch closely to what he is saying, shows something remarkable: Even when the very top leadership of Iran has been killed or under threat, this guy is specific about various locations and targets, as if he has updated information. How could it be? Is he reading from some teleprompter or knows from heart exactly what to say given all the information he's been given.

I’m telling you it’s been close to 2 hours nothing a peep on TOI regarding the impacts I’m guessing some kind of casualty event or so many messed up buildings that it’s taking them a very long time to check them all

Attacking and holding Kharg could prove very expensive for the US and GCC and lead to severe retaliation. Iran also has alternatives to Kharg. Yoav Gallant knows all this but still encourages America to attack. This is an example of the cunning of Israelis.

Someday Americans may realize how they have been taken for a ride by Israel.
