Peace talks is just a front to give Israel full leverage to hit anything in lran.I mean at this point the question is...is the US in on it to scuttle the peace deal talks, or are they truly in the dark? Unlikely.

I talked to a source in Beijing yesterday about news reports that China was selling Iran various chips and missiles. He would not confirm specifics. But what he said was very interesting. To China, what is happening in the Persian Gulf is a laboratory of their policies of sea denial:
1) He said that China is collecting field data from Iranian conflict zones to identify the radar and thermal signatures of American, and weapons.
2) They are waiting to see how Iran's chokepoint warfare in the Strait of Hormuz works. They plan to use similar swarming tactics near their shores and around Taiwan.
3) China managed the Iranian transition to the BeiDou Navigation Satellite System. This allows China to evaluate the performance and precision of its encrypted military signals in a contested electronic warfare environment.
4) By providing intelligence, radar, and electronic warfare support, China can assess the effectiveness of its technology against Western platforms like the F-35 without direct military engagement. He hinted that this has been more successful than expected.
The bottom line (this is my interpretation and not what my source said): is China is loving this war. It is not only weakening the US and depleting their missile and interceptor stocks, but is also giving China examples of what works and allowing it to test its weapon systems while killing American soldiers and destroying American equipment. All without putting a single Chinese soldier at risk.
Well I guess they sent their opening round the Houthis are in it as well officially @Persian Gulf @Immortals

IRGC CLAIM 6 US COMBAT VESSELS STRUCK!!!
IRGC: 84th wave continues
"The sinking of tactical vessels and the killing of a large number of American terrorists"
— Public Relations of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC):
"Continuing the 84th wave of Operation True Promise 4 under the blessed code "Ya Man Huwa Shadid al-Iqab" (O He Who is Severe in Punishment) and dedicated to the artists and celebrities who support the Revolution on these nights, the IRGC Navy, in a combined attack, targeted Zionist-American terrorists in the port of Al-Shuyukh and the coasts and port of Dubai, precisely striking depressed American soldiers and their tactical equipment.
— In this operation, which was carried out using ballistic and cruise missiles of the Qadr-380 type, six American LCU (Landing Craft Utility) combat vessels in the port of "Al-Shuyukh" were hit. According to field reports, three of these combat vessels sank after being hit, and the remaining are burning.
— Simultaneously, a drone operation was carried out against the gathering centers of American terrorist officers of the drone unit on the coast and one of the hotels in Dubai, using destructive drones, and these centers were precisely struck.
During this operation, in addition to the sinking of tactical vessels, a large number of American terrorists were also killed. As we have said before, wherever you go, we will come after you; you will be miserable.
The IRGC Navy, with God's permission, with full dominance and awareness, will respond decisively to the enemy's mischief."
Given you have 2 separate Twitter posts there, why believe either of them? Why would an F-16 shot over Shiraz land in western Saudia, why not east, isn't that more reasonable?
Let me share my viewpoint. Its not that easy when the super power is constantly bombing you 24/7. Whatever Iran has achieved is surprising specially after 40+ years of sanctions.
Though one more thing.
- I don't think Israel/US are running low on interceptors.
- In 12 day war last year, Iran lunched 500+ missiles over Israel.
- Israel/US must be expecting much more launches from Iran in this conflict.
- Israel/US must have prepared better than last year's 12 day war.
- But in this conflict Iran has only managed to launch half of what they launched last year.
- Or may be I am wrong and Israel/US may be were expecting to finish off the job in few hours?
Good analysis, makes senseLet me share my viewpoint.
Trump hopes to launch a short-term military operation, rather than a long, full-scale war. Just like Venezuela.
Iran's targeted strikes are aimed at the radars of the U.S. and Israel. Without these radars, interceptors cannot function. The U.S. has moved air defense systems from South Korea.
Interception requires two, three, or even more interceptors. Therefore, 500 interceptors are far from enough.
The U.S. has transported South Korea's air defense systems to the Middle East, is considering taking back "Patriots" from Ukraine, and has announced the expansion of air defense missile production. These news reports prove that the U.S.'s air defense systems and interceptors are seriously insufficient.
The U.S. did not consider Iran striking American military bases. Trump accused the U.S. Secretary of Defense of first supporting a war against Iran. The U.S. has increased troops from Japan and the U.S. itself. The U.S. did not discuss a plan to invade Iran in advance with NATO countries or Japan. These news reports prove that Trump made no war preparations at all.
Iran is an industrial nation, and its missile quantity is sufficient to continuously strike U.S. and Israeli military targets. According to the latest news, the Houthi forces in Yemen have launched attacks on Israel.
In this war, the U.S. and Israel have already failed. The U.S. and Israel cannot increase the production capacity of weapons and equipment, and they cannot obtain enough rare earths.
