I don't think US will put boots on the ground, that'd be completely and utterly suicidal - unless that is part of the their plan to send few thousands to the meat grinder and use that to try something nastier. I wouldn't put it past these blood thirsty terrorists. Either this or the ground troops is just a pressure tactic, nothing else is working ATM. I wonder what their end goal is...surely they're not stupid enough to give live commentary on their military plans?
