Donald Trump has told the Financial Times he could "take the oil in Iran" and possibly seize the country's major fuel hub of Kharg Island.

"To be honest with you, my favourite thing is to take the oil in Iran, some stupid people back in the US say: ‘Why are you doing that?’ But they’re stupid people,” he said.

How does the US have a president who talks like that, it's like a 9 years old, insane.

I have heard rumors from Iranian analysts, quoting official Iranian outlets that they will invade Iran from the south and the northwest soon. The recent news about sending Takfiris to the Republic of Azerbaijan aligns quite well with this information.

In the northwest, they will have Turkish and Qatari-backed Takfiris + Kurdish rebels. In the south, they will have American and Arab troops + Baluch separatists.

The official entering of Houthis can be another indicator that something serious is planned to happen soon.

Agreed. let's hope it never comes to that indeed. Because it's an "all or nothing" scenario. Either it never materializes and remains the topic of forever speculation (sadly, the less likely option at this stage based on available data) or it does, and its full force, from every side of the borders, probably in tandem with a general assault on the energy plants, with US forces garnering whatever proxy mobilization they've able to garner over the past decades.

I'm really not sure I want to verify who prepared best, even though anything would come at a huge human and financial cost and would completely destroy whatever's left of Trump's presidency. The problem being that he does not seem to care , or can't afford to care about basically anything, since he's on a very short Israeli leash.

Time will tell, but odds are not good. My worries is the same as always, people know me on this forum enough now. The longer the war lasts, the longer Iran will take to rebuild and stabilize.

I agree with the first part of your analysis. I do not believe that the number of votes determines objectivity, morality, or future outcomes in this conflict. As seen with UNSC Resolution 2817, which overwhelmingly condemned Iran’s retaliatory strikes, an overwhelming vote does not necessarily reflect context or resolve the underlying crisis. For decades, global opinion and UN processes have failed to prevent injustices affecting Iran, and it stands to reason they will be equally impotent in determining how these events unfold.

They’re protecting those sites far more than they are protecting civilian population centers at this point but everyday Iranians are connecting more and more Israelis thought the missile threat would have been over after several days(at least for them they could care less about srbm that are destroying Arab and American bases)but we now are seeing hits coming in constantly and can’t be hidden anymore(far less it hit nothing guys just desert didn’t hit that army base that use to be there)

I read on Reddit, a Lebanese person asking Israelis what the damage is like...in reality, and the Israeli said essentially, most these missiles aren't that damaging, maybe destroy a house if it's a direct impact and damage the nearby buildings. Would you accept a few dozen houses and buildings destroyed in a city? It's not great and you certainly don't want to be near a strike but a few buildings here and there destroyed isn't a big issue when your are at war with you main enemy.

I see the point, most the impacts I've seen really don't seem to do big damage, sure it's terrifying and you won't want to be within 50 metres of an impact but when there's a few a day hitting randomly across multiple cities, it may never directly affect you.

Obviously hitting infrastructure is far more damaging but these two countries can go back and forth at the level they are at now indefinitely.
