US Perspective on the Iran - Israel / US War

But no removal from office unless either:

A. the Democrats hold every seat of theirs that is currently up for reelection AND they flip ALL of the Republican seats that are up.
B. enough Senate Republicans side with the Democrats to vote for removal.

I see neither as feasible.
MAGA is already under strain. He's lost Tucker Carlson and Joe Rogan. The Supreme Court is flexing its muscle. Add economic pressure and I can see Republican Senators begin to vote more independently. The war is already unpopular except in his hardcore base - which may also weaken as economic reality bites. His television appearances are increasingly erratic - questions being posed on senility. And good ole' JD, he of sex with couches, waits in the wings...

I see the topic as related as I'm also looking at this from the broader perspective of overall world economic impact.
There is always a broader economic impact for this, mainly focusing on how the oil price impacts anything, such as energy-based concerns hitting the steel and aluminium industry or how fuel cost is going to spike logistic costs worldwide.

For the petrol dollar perspective to work, they will need to seriously cut into world economic activities. The guy I replied to said this is the "bleeding heart" of world economic activities. I would say even within commodity-based VC funding, oil/energy-based funding is not really a leading form of funding in that category. Probably, I would go for precious metal-based funding, but as a whole, the world of venture capitalists is basically dominated by 3 fields: Fintech, ICT (Crypto, Software, and AI), and Green Tech.

I mean, they dominate the field of Series Funding A

Watching from U.K. London. Trump has not only messed up the Middle East for decades to come, it has also effectively destroyed NATO. and the good will of any of the people in the West. All because Trump thinks he is some new Emperor of the world.

NATO was already on life support.

Hello friends! I’ve been thinking a lot recently about the fact that the current generation is not the WWII generation, and they will not accept battle deaths in the way that the WWII gen (supposedly) did. I think even the most extreme MAGA families will quickly sour on the war once (heaven forbid) the bodies begin their sad journeys home. Hegseth seems to me to be in his own deluded headspace where "war is exciting and good." I would say he underestimates the situation except that I don't think he's estimated it in the first place.

Before the war she was rumored to sail and arrive at a point in time to have 3 carriers at start of operations and have the CVN-Ford stay for about a week and then be relieved by CVN-Bush. She's a month late but I think CVN-Ford is on her way home after repairs in Crete.

Nope trump is not to blame brother, NATO is to blame. Grew too fat and complacent cashing in on the peace dividends post cold war.

Look at their budget spending and reduction in capabilities. Relying on Daddy USA to bail them out. Question is why should the US do that?

I'm not American but I ask myself this. Trump is not wrong in his remarks about NATO.

If we had social media like today during Desert Storm the drama from the left and MSM would be worse than it is now.
