Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Even if trump bows out of this war or not I don’t think the Iranians are going to be done with the Israelis even if they say it’s over
This is exactly what Trita Parsi is saying on Al Jazeera right now.

Iran won't cease because Trump has not engaged in conversation with them in good faith at any stage of this crisis. Trump has simply used words to attempt to manipulate and deceive Iran (and everyone else in the world barring Israel!).

If I understood correctly, he also mentioned the attempted "Israelisation" of American war policy, which is apparently - simply to engage in violence against rivals until they are degraded enough to ensure a brief window of security, before a further engagement becomes necessary. Parsi says this has been Israel's modus operandi for decades now, but USA under Hegseth and Trump has now been considering a similar strategy. I.e. no actual objectives/compromise/statecraft, other than destroy as much of your rival as you can, until you can pause, then build up strength to do it again.

This is the new world order gents.

They’re still battering all gcc states Hezbollah is actually picking up steam up north I think they’re trying to degrade their interceptors and yes I believe a large strike is to come ceasefire or not Israel says they’re done or not I don’t think Iran is going to let this one slide this time around what to do they have to lose at this point

The issue with that logic is Hezbollah rockets rarely activate Israeli mid and high tier interceptors. They are cheap katushya rockets. They activate Iron Dome (Tamir missile) which is a cheap 50-75K interceptor that Israel likely has thousands of.

Hezbollah has some longer and bigger set of rocket rockets that may activate David’s sling or Patriot, but they are in short supply.

Hezbollah is refraining to target some critical Israeli infrastructure like Haifa gas refinery because Israel is threatening to targeting Lebanese state infrastructure

Hezbollah is trying to please all sides but with time they may have no option but to respond in kind

Hezbollah is active. I do feel bad for them. They're kind of alone like Hamas was.

GCC was rather quiet today. I'm unable to find much reports.

It's possible Iran is preparing strike packages for near end of Trump's new deadline which is 5-7 days away ?

It's okay for Iran to move assets into place and prepare more effective strike packages then sprinkle fire here and there to entertain us.

I think what people don't understand is Russia can guard it's airspace so it can keep building drones and going on forever. Iran is unable to guard its airspace nor prevent strikes on its homeland. They cannot engage in a war of attrition against Western powers like Russia or China can.

Leadership of Middle East are in a scary and difficult situation.

I wouldn't want to be in their shoes. If Iran and Hezbollah are successfully weakened, I don't know what Israel does next.

Maybe assault Gaza again and pick a fight with Egypt ? Pick a fight with Syria and Turkey ? Or they stop and go back to status quo ?

Who's gonna put a stop to this ?

The war in Lebanon is especially interesting. Not least because Israel has in the last two years identified the Litani River as its objective … a mere 7 miles away on 3 occasions. Somehow, despite spectacular military successes in each occasion, this remains the target for the next offensive. What’s happening? Is the much vaunted IDF unable to defeat the ragtag Hezbollah? Mon dieu! Surely not.

This is precisely the paradigm that the world is now facing. The question is not who will stop it. The question is who is actually able to stop it, even if they want to?
