This is exactly what Trita Parsi is saying on Al Jazeera right now.Even if trump bows out of this war or not I don’t think the Iranians are going to be done with the Israelis even if they say it’s over
They’re still battering all gcc states Hezbollah is actually picking up steam up north I think they’re trying to degrade their interceptors and yes I believe a large strike is to come ceasefire or not Israel says they’re done or not I don’t think Iran is going to let this one slide this time around what to do they have to lose at this point
Hezbollah is active. I do feel bad for them. They're kind of alone like Hamas was.
The war in Lebanon is especially interesting. Not least because Israel has in the last two years identified the Litani River as its objective … a mere 7 miles away on 3 occasions. Somehow, despite spectacular military successes in each occasion, this remains the target for the next offensive. What’s happening? Is the much vaunted IDF unable to defeat the ragtag Hezbollah? Mon dieu! Surely not.Hezbollah is refraining to target some critical Israeli infrastructure like Haifa gas refinery because Israel is threatening to targeting Lebanese state infrastructure
Hezbollah is trying to please all sides but with time they may have no option but to respond in kind
This is precisely the paradigm that the world is now facing. The question is not who will stop it. The question is who is actually able to stop it, even if they want to?Leadership of Middle East are in a scary and difficult situation.
I wouldn't want to be in their shoes. If Iran and Hezbollah are successfully weakened, I don't know what Israel does next.
Maybe assault Gaza again and pick a fight with Egypt ? Pick a fight with Syria and Turkey ? Or they stop and go back to status quo ?
Who's gonna put a stop to this ?
